If its possible, It could be because of the heat. Zombie attacks could spike at an all time high when it gets hot out. In PHX AZ it gets up to 122 in the middle of summer so its a good question...

What about the possiblity of rain and thunderstorms along with any other major storms. Extreme colds, i.e. Antarctica, would completely freeze a zombie, but i agree with the extreme heat

Ya your rite if there was no hope i would move to Alaska or some shit. You would have a bunch of zombie snowmen everywhere & you could dress them up... LOL

It's funny, I was working on this film during it's pre-production a couple of years back called Dead Reign and it had a cool twist on zombies and weath and how the rain controls them. It would have been a great script if the characters weren't so damn cliche.

I will make another post with my thoughts as it is also one of the links to a recent outbreak that I've been compiling things together for, but I believe it's not just weather related, but Earth related, as in Gaia's Revenge kind of deal.

well possibly heat could have an effect alot the extreme weather instead of causing attacks, i believe would more just stir things up which could lead to more attacks, and the idea of moving to alaska or Antarctica, as safer as id be survival there is much harder for everyone, living and undead.

To add another thing here; the wind can also play a big role in carrying a virus or spreading the scent of fresh meat to the nearby dead beats.

this idea of a "virus" spreading. if the said virus was carried through airbourne contaminants would we all just be a little s.o.l? we'd all be zombies...that would kinda suck cuz then we'd have to kill each other to stop an infection that could possibly be stopped, unless of course your ammuned to it in which case that causes for another rant!

I'm sure some of us "lucky" ones will survive the Virus. Then we get to go "cure" the Zombies.

I'm sure that it wouldn't infect all of us. There would be certain people that would have some sort of immunity built against the said virus. Granted that limits our chances for survival, but one way or another our chances once a world outbreak happens will be pretty slim anyways.
