Ok we all have to get around after the outbreak. What is the best mode of transportation. For me, I pick a riding lawn mower. Going to die anyway, might as well cut some grass. lol

Other then the size of the vehicle the 5 speed transmission makes it easy as driving a manual pick up truck.
best mode of transportation in my book are my legs, hopefully they will always be there when I need em.
any aviation would be out of the question without a sufficient supply structure. Airplanes need room to land and takeoff. Helicopters would be a better alternative for short distance travel, but are much harder to fly than airplanes. Both require specific aviation fuel and extensive maintenance. If fuel is not a problem, at the moment, a military personnel carrier that is designed to withstand IED's and gunfire would be ideal. Dirt bikes would offer mobility and efficient fuel usage, but no protection. If you wreck, youre going to be a nice meal. If there are runners around, the lack of protection would persuade me to not want to travel in anything that didn't offer moderate protection. Regardless on what you can get, always make sure you make the necessary tools and repair parts to fix it. Be sure to do an in depth inspection of any vehicle and fix whatever you can before it becomes an issue. Just as with any piece of equipment: take care of your equipment and it will take care of you. If your vehicle breaks down and your unable to fix it, all that equipment you were carrying will have to be left behind or carried. If there are runners, forget about leaving if you cant dispatch them.
haha I'd rig up my car and just use that. Put some sort of sturdy metal casing to keep zombies away from the windows, extensions on the bumpers. Simple. My problem would be getting gas for the car, as i doubt there would be anyone working the stations.
I would take a Yugo before I'd ride a bicycle to, through or from zombies. It's not practical.
1966 Buick Electra. Big ass car, like 6000 lbs, HUGE trunk. I know gas mileage would be an issue, but let's face it, your p***y Honda won't be able to take on more than a few zs without being smashed.
Funny.

My honest answer? Most likely an MRAP. We use them in Afghanistan. If they can stand up to IED's, why not zombies?
Man that MRAP looks pretty badass. I, however, think that the best mode of transportation would be your own two feet. You should always travel at night where there's less visibility...and wear a suit of loud clanking pots, zombies hate that...oh, and shoot them in the hand, they make for a guaranteed kill....spit burns like acid to them so try spitting before shooting at them.....(MORE FOOD FOR ME AND MY FAMILY)
biped locomotion
I would use my jeep perfect for it hard top always on. 4wd always in great condition. Also pretty good gas mileage. As always a good set of feet :)
riot control car =armored+heavy+lot of room to put food and supplies and survivours on it+ can run through that mo fo's like a knife in a butter..............
My friend just walked passed and said zipline...... thought it was a good idea.
