Abandoned locations perfect for ZPoc filming across the country

I've come across some abandoned places in my time (Pripyat, Ukraine being one of them) and there are tons of places that are abandoned and would give an excellent post apocalyptic feel to them. I'd like to push out a list of places that would be great for filming. PLEASE ADD TO THIS LIST!

Near New Orleans - Abandoned Six Flags Jazzland amusement park

Centralia, PA - An abandoned coal mining down due to underground fires

Near NYC - Abandoned Luxury Resort In The Catskills

Pripyat, Ukraine - Next to Chernobyl (See my pics for this one)

There are tons more, especially in old cities with old districts. I know Detroit, Chicago, and NYC all have old places that are abandoned. Well worth the stroll if you can dodge the bums and squatters. ;)

Actually there's a great city called Gary, Indiana. Used to be major heavy industry but now has nothing and the population has dropped by sixty percent. Whole complexes, churches, theaters, are abandoned. You can check it out on a lot of urban explorer websites.

Oh wow man Centralia is actually pretty close to me. Maybe if Im not busy i can go down there somtime. Thanks for posting this cause I probaly would have never knew about this place.

if i can only have ONE of these even remotely close by.......
