It's not that far fetched. I believe that no human being would leave the human race to extinction, but if it were to happen, then yes, Rape in this issue will be a must. Unless one is capable of Invitro fertilization. In this case, he simply needs to donate the recommended solution.

On the second hand, this is kind of a dumb question. No man in his right mind would turn down free sex with a group of females. That makes you the luckiest man on earth, even if it is just the two of you.

Sexual trauma victims and rape victims can form aversions to sex and sexual prowess because of mental suffering done by rape.

I'm not saying it doesn't, but that isn't my point. I really don't believe this situation is a possible one. Like I stated, if there were 10 survivors, 2 male and 8 female, and one of the men were sterile, the other-just like any other species on earth, would understand the requirements of the situation.

My other theory was invitro fertilization. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to read a book and follow directions, but finding a donation site that has maintained power, and thus frozen samples, would be the problem.

Rape in no way is right, but when your talking about the survival of the human race resting on the shoulders of one single individual, it has to happen. Ideally, that person should be hanged for being willing to kill off the human race, but who knows, eventually they may come around, and by hanging him, the hangers would then become the end of the human race. God willing, I want to be the remaining doner, then there's no problem. What's the old saying, "You can't rape the willing!"

One man and 8 women can't give birth to a healthy population. At one point in time, to further procreate, that man will have to have sex with one of his daughters or one of the male childrean will have to have sex with his step sister.
There's an idea, one of the male childrean to have sex with a random woman from the original 8 group. But again, at some point those genes will cross.

But I sincerilly don't think one man's genes will do the trick.

If one claims to have any religion, then in theory we're all inbred rednecks. Really, look for the research, the whole inbred factor only affects a small population. Unless there's some super scientist or something willing to grow babies in test tubes, the only other possible way would be a sperm bank.

Birth defects caused by inbreeding only occur after generations of it, and with 8 women the blood line would be so varied, after the offspring were at breeding age, that there would be only a slightly elevated chance of birth defects, say up to 4%-5% (where the average is 2%-3%), while generations of inbreeding have a birth defect chance of 7%-10%. then after a generation of two the birth defect chance would decrease and you would have a healthy population, with all fingers and toes accounted for.

It's really rare that we're responsible for the survival for humanity... even if there's only 20 or so people, there's not much chance for a major comeback of our species... Doctors are gone, we're all scarred for life, etc.

for your question, we'd ask him to... well... make some... well, you should know how this works. Then, the women could take the... stuff, and... use it.

This way, the women will get what they want, and the male can remain sane.

Working in Law Enforcement with several very capable female officers has led me to some conclusions...

Women, in the grand scheme, are far more important than men. The reason for this can be backed up by several well known and fundamental facts:

1.) Women can birth children and provide them with nourishment that men cannot.
2.) Women are capable of surviving without a mate despite the fact that we may be stronger than women, the fact remains that most basic survival necessities can be aquired through means that do not require strength in excess of what the average female is capable of.
3.) Men are expendable. In Earth's population...men are outnumbered.
4.) For the species to successfully recover, women must be preserved and protected against harm. This is a basic, organic and undeniable fact. Two men and 20 women can repopulate a town, 20 men and two women cannot.

There is more I can get into but what it comes to is this, That stupid sonofabitch better get his pants off and screw to save the human race, especially if I'm firing blanks or the next round won't be a blank.

I too think this is a rather odd and pointless discussion since I cannot imagine such a thing ever actually coming to pass. It does however bring up some interesting conversation....
