Alternative to Snares

I really don`t like snares they seem in humane to me but thats just my opinion so instead i pack rat traps in my bugout bags. setting a rat trap much easier than having to figure out a snare for someone who has never made a snare before plus you can get a whole pack of them at the dollar store

yeah that's the problem with rat traps is the size of the animal you can get. with a snare you can catch bigger game. and its not cruel if you check it every day, and get the animal as soon as you can. still i would carry both gives you an edge.
