Anyone else find peace in the apcoalypse
I find that after most of the people are dead there will be a peace on earth that I have never known. To see the stars again and to see the city's not stuffed full of people and cars. I understand that there will be zombies and from my understanding they will always chase us and never stop until they are all dead. Even with that factor I still see a peace in it all, I am very tired of this fast passe world I live in. I just wanted to put this out there as food for thought and wondering if anyone feels like I do.

A world without the corporate rat race, politics, holy wars, not so holy wars, media spin, crime, economics, tree huggers, cell phones, MTV, and people looking to get ahead at your exspense? All I got to do is cap some deadheads, find food and water and a safe place to hold up? Sign me up! As for the zeds, at least they are honest, you know what they are after. No zed ever smiled to your face and then stabbed you in the back, got to respect that about them.

You are not alone in your despair.More and more people are saying "enough of this corporate bullshit", lets get back to a simpler life.
First thing to do is get rid of the TV. Now you are free from being programmed to want useless things that add more expense to your life and ensure you keep working harder and longer to pay for them. Remember "he with the most toys when he dies... still dies". You are now free to have your own opinions on things uncolored by the political stance of the media owners, who "surprisingly" are the same ones trying to sell you that same useless shit.
The first step towards happiness is to stop wanting.
Second, question everything.
"man you should get a new IPad."
Why?
Because they are cool, they can do this and that.
But WHY do I need to do that? That money would be better spent on preparing for the fall/putting toward that shack on acreage in the woods.
You don't need to be in the woods to drop out of the rat race and find some peace (tho it helps) just refuse to get suckered into the whole "consumption will fill the void" concepts being stuffed down your throat.
The choice is yours, the red pill or the blue pill Neo.
I too await the zeds to bring the great culling.
