Are modern or older weapons better for an attack?

I think older. Newer ones can jam easily, plus we know for certain the older one's power and durability.

It takes a long time to build up momentum with those weapons. Plus, I doubt you could find a battle ready morning star. Again, avalability is an issue.

No, but I have seen them used. Availbilty though, if you don't already have a BATTLE READY one, then your are kinda screwed.

maces are primitive, it's our primitive instinct to beat things to death with blunt objects. anyone can do it with little to no skill
no different than smacking something to death with a stick or 2x4

Exactly. Just like putting a bullet through something the size of a melon that is 10 to 15 feet away and either not moving or moving slow. No real skill involved, except with a mace, club, ballbat, or even a 2x4, your now closer to harm. Killing is killing, no mater what the method, dead is dead ( or re-dead in this case).

First of all it takes a lot more skill to shoot a gun accurately then it does to swing a melee weapon. If you think you can get head shots everytime on a z then you are smoking crack. Get any gun go to the range and start shooting at a paper target thats obviously not moving and I know for a fact your not going to get them all in the head. I was in the marines, and im a certified gunsmith. I know my shit trust me. I know im more than good with firearms and I know I couldnt get headshots everytime especially when your adrenilane and fear set in it all takes a toll on your ability to shoot. As far as a mace ya it would be a good 1 but you got to remember a couple things...1 an actual funtional mace is going to be hard to find if you go to a museum or any other place like that chances are its hundreds of years old which means it would most likely fall apart after the first kill. also if you have a sword , knife or any other melee weapon you bought at the mall or some swap meet its a replica its not mad for actual combat its just for show! 2 is blood splatter when your that close to a z and your hackin limbs chance are your going to hit an artery and when you do your going to have a lot of blood coming at you which raises your chances of being infected, Ill have a machette in my arsenal but Ill stick my my guns first.

I agree with the other guy. If you're in a game, you might be able to say, "0mG, y w00d U us3 a M4c3!?!? N0 sk1ll 47 4ll, N00B!" Dead is dead. If you can make things dead more efficiently, then why not? Skill doesn't matter when you're getting torn limb from limb.

i, myself have firearms at my disposal. But in other countries their laws restrict the usage of firearms or even deny civilians the right of owning them. Those people must adapt to using things such as maces, just something to consider.

what ever gun loob and the cleaning kits for an ak are a shoelaces dipped in oil. its true besides they wont run out till were alll dead

you must have giant shoe laces if you can clean a .30 cal barrel with them, what about the internals? and the piston? if these parts are not cleaned and maintained all you will wind up with is a club.

Whatever is most familiar to you, either a 1896 bolt action or top of the line M4. Everything is personal preference, so just find one that you believe fits you the best and become proficient with it. Proficiency is all that matters..
