What would be the best mode of transport in a zombie apocalypse?
Mine would be an Air balloon, becasue it is quiet, flys, only needs small amount of fuel, can be landed any where unlike a zeppelin, can easily see if any zombies are hiding in it and quick vertical take offs.

I assume those tubes are the cannons of the tank so sharp blades wouldn't really work. And ammo would be heavy to carry.
Would b easy to set fire to by other survivors, and wood isn't a very good material.
There you have a point, wooden is a risk when dealing with survivors, but for a easily movable "home" this could work.
Who`s to say you can`t enhance this home/ transport by using scavenged materials to make it more fireproof, soak the wooden material in something like water for example.
And those tubes wouldn't be very useful fighting off Zeds, hence why i`d replace them with hammered metal "blades" approx the same size as those tubes.
Soaking them in water would make them weaker and they would eventually rot
I know this, just using it as an example of a temporary solutions to risk of fire, get some firemen foam etc. there is allot of possibilities, thin metal plating, like fences in layers. etc
please suggest things when you so quickly put it down :)
the tubes are Cannons mate, and the idea of the thing is it's actually a warmachine, it's made to house the cannons and a crew of 12 only four of wich are needed to move it.

And honestly wood is probably the best choice, thick wood is hard to beak so zeds can bash at it all day and get nowhere, and a zed is probably onnly gonna be interested in it when they hear a survivor inside or see it move.

Survivors are more likely to try and steal it from you, it's not entirely bullet proof (To modern firearms anyway)

any vheicle has flaws, this one protects you from Zombies, not survivors.
Horse or Foot. Gas Is Scarce.

Those military vechicles will be near impossible to obtain. this is a more realistic option.

These are built to stop criminals getting in, so how will you?
go to the dispatch hub and grab a key. Most have "fleet" keys and are the same.
oh and gas would be syphened and stored in gas tanks.. if the truck is about to be on E stop driving it until you: found more gas or the area becomes too overwhelming with zeds. ALWAYS SECURE A SAFESPOT.
