I just started reading a few zombie novels and want to know what's the best one(s) out there. Right now, I'm reading "World War Z" and "Roses of Blood on Barbwire Vines." War Z is different because it's presented as a historic document with first-person stories from post-war survivors. Roses of Blood is a sick, disturbing and highly addictive read. Its an original story in that it takes place post-zombie-apocalypse following a group of Vampires trying to survive by farming humans!
But I need to expand my library, so what's everyone's Number 1 Zombie book or book series?
Ha, me being a resident evil nut, I enjoy the novelizations by S.D something-or-other... Yeah, call it stupid to be reading a book based on a videogame but whatever, it intertains me enough. No crazy disturbing scenes but interesting storyies (loosley based on the games) and creative character (most from the game)...And there's always the handy dandy zombie survival guide.... That's always a good time...
I bought my wife the Ultimate Zombie Survival Guide 2 years ago, long before I found this site. It certainly is a good read. I feel much prepared for the inevitable zombi-pocalypse.
I'll have to checkout the RE novel, thanks for the reply.
I just started reading that! I only got through the first 3 stories, but so far I've been blown away! And this book is great giving me other authors to lookup.
DUDE! Thank you! I saw this briefly when I started my search for a good zombie novel and totally forgot about it! That's going on my list. (yes, I'm a total Star-Wars geek)
