Just thinking about this since there is no proof Zed wake up form their coffins and climb up. Why not move into your local corpse farm? I mean most always have tall iron fences and gates, and the building in is the center of the cemetery which in most part the land is flat.  Along with that if the dead have any sense of memory or smell, they wouldn’t come and you could pour the chemicals around the fences to drown out the scent. I know that some have its own morgue, but It could only hold so many.

Now that being said if they do come out of the ground your fucked.

My local cemetary has 2 fence gates. Nothing more. And the gates can't even be locked. Only plus is that the cemetary is surrounded by some water. And there is an exit, sort of.
Luckily it has no morgue =D. I am hoping that they dead don't come from under the ground. If it happens I will jump to the next grassfield, totally surrounded by water.
Do you sleep in a coffin? :)

In Tawau, we had several cemeteries like Christians, Muslims even Hindus and Natives People...
So I guess if your idea is about sleeping in a coffin or wasting lots of your time around that places
well I not very interesting with that !
But, if I was forcing to hide inside a cemetery area or even a coffin for my safety or survival plan - then, I should !
Anyway, my sister's house were exactly on a location near a christian cemetery, though ...
well a citucemetary is a good place high fences to keep out vandals, we went to the historical cemetary in boston the fences were 10 feet high
