i don`t think there ever would be a cure for a zombie other than a bullet in the head as it is rotting and dead is pretty much dead.. :)~

By cure perhaps you mean innoculation of some type, something that will render whatever is causing the dead to come back to cease working.

I would say that a "cure" is relatively unlikely if the outbreak occurs the way it does in the films that we all so love. Everything goes to hell so quickly that the scientists and doctors that could investigate and then find such a cure would likely be so few and far between that it would be nigh on impossible for them to get the necessary resources to do so.

For us to really deteremin if cure is possible we'd have to define which types of zombies we're talking about. For zombies that really are dead I doubt there will ever be a cure for that, although finding a "cure" that could be airborn that would kill them outright might be a different story.

If we're talking about a virus scenerio I'd think it's possible for an vacine to be invented, or a "cure" that would stop the virus before the victem has complete turned. If the disease doesn't reanimate the person, or they're not technically dead but display all the other characteristics of a zombie, then you'd have to actually look at what the is going on with the body to determine if it's possible for a cure to be created.

For example if the brain is being inhibited from functioning except for the most primitive parts, then I would imagine that a cure could be developed. However if regions of the brain that handle coginitve thought, and speach and what not are being distoryed or damaged then it's highly unlikely that a cure could be developed. Atleast not with the technology or medical knowledge we have today.

Well what I mean is a immunity type of "cure" and a "cure" that could actually turn you from zombie to human.
