Can I ask why you want to battle a zombie face to face? I mean its a novel idea for the thrill of it, but when it comes to actual survival during a apocolypse why put yourself in that type of danger?

Damn man, I haven't said anything to you in acouple of days. Ive been trying to be civil with you. Why do you want to come and try to start a argument with me? What sort of point are you trying to prove? You joined a site about zombies. There are forums here where people talk about guns, knives, and everything in between. All you've done the last several days is try to start arguments about how dumb we are for carrying weapons, and how enlightened you are because you won't. I dont understand you. If you want to disagree with everyone, why did you join this site?

You assumed that by wanting to carry firearms my aim was to run around like some sort of mad savage killing zombies and everything in my path. That is not at all my plans. Having weapons just increases my chances of not being killed by a zombie, or someone wanting to take my food or resources. Im not saying a having a firearm is going to keep me alive, but in an apocolyptic situation it will definitely increase my chances of not being killed by something or someone. I dont know what youve done, or where youve been. Frankly I dont care. I know where Ive been, and what Ive experienced. Humans have great capacity to be good, and civil. People also have a great capacity for violence, theft, cruelty. If everything was to fall apart in an apocolypse you are going to see the worst side of everyone. Sure you'll see people helping people, that just in our nature. Your also going to see the worst in people. Creating a society without firearms isnt going to solve this problem. Look at California, they have some of the most restricted gun laws in the United States, and they have some of the worst gun violence in the United States. Criminals are going get their hand on firearms, and their not going to prove the best of human nature.

If your not willing to fight for your life, then you dont deserve it in the first place. First lesson you learn into the military is that any force multiplier you can use to increase your chances to survive is worth it.
News flash ace...fresh water and food are going to be hard to come by. If you dont have food, your body wont function. If you dont have water, your body wont function. Yes I would kill someone if it ment my life over theirs. I have news for you my friend, this utopian world you speak of isnt the world we live in. It will never be that world. Look around you all over the world wars are breaking out everywhere. Your not going to get the rest of the world to disarm, doing it here isnt going to happen either. Im done arguing with you. I'll debate my position with anyone who will be civil and debate back. All you want to do is call everyone a idiot, and say you hope they die. Im done talking you.

bro the majority of criminals are not smart people they are the people that couldnt make it in normal society a large majority of career criminals are illiterate and think illogicaly very few have graduated high school even fewer even attended college i deal with these people on a daily basis the outlets you will see these people from is a whole lot different from the reality criminals put on an act for the camera they make themselves to be the victim of some undying injustice when these people are doing nothing more than putting up a veil to shade your eyes from the truth

Gonna say this now, and read everything else before my post in the morning; life or death situations are not a f*cking game. I've been face to face with enemies and I never want to do it again. Yes, there is a high that comes from combat, but anyone who's looking for it has either 1) never been there and/or 2) seen too many movies and/or 3) is still waiting for their first pube to grow in.
When it comes to survival, there's only one queston; who's coming out on top. It you or them. This sick search for an adrenaline rush. It's not a damned game. It's life or death.

Common Sense means you avoid the dangerous situations. Fight when you have to. If you're looking for trouble you will find it and more often then not you will not like what you find.

I may have been hammered when I wrote that, but it's really how I feel. I understand the need for levity. Hell, I've actually laughed while mortars were coming down on us one time, but there's a line between absurdity in the name of fun, and absurdity that is taken seriously and can end up getting people killed.
