Permalink Reply by Jericho Syndrome on February 9, 2011 at 6:12pm first thing ever made was a baseball bat wrapped in razor wire
but then i saw assassin creed and a video on how to make a prop version of the concealable blade, i just sharpened the metal more to be an actual blade and added a catch so it wont retract on push.......

Permalink Reply by Myles Kevin Greenwalt on February 10, 2011 at 12:11am I took the sharpened blade from a machete, and welded it too a 4.ft long, 1.5.inch thick rebar for extra killing distance.......... basicly its a spear.

Permalink Reply by chace phillip on February 19, 2011 at 12:08pm I'm working on two currently- both in the design phase.
the cX-10, a semiautomatic gas operated selective fire (between semi and bolt action) multi caliber handgun. made specifically for the california market. (sold as a incomplete receiver, thus requiring no FFL and anyoen can buy it). looks a bit like the Mauser C96. a Makarov-style pistol grip, 10 round fixed magazine, AK trigger group, SKS bolt cover, gas assembly, AK-style bolt system. it would come in 9mm, 7.62x25 and 5.45x39mm, as those cartridge share a common rim size. the barrel (like everything else on the gun) can be removed with minimal tools and time. the magazine is charged much like the SKS rifle, the bolt is pulled open, is held back on an empty mag, or manually locked back. charge the magazine with a clip or one round at a time. the gun can also be made into a compact rifle (carbine) pretty easily with a buttstock.
I'm working on the design and considering manufacturing methods and materials. there will be two prototypes made, one FDM 3D printed function test (to test function of the gun and its shape), the other a working prototype most likely made of cast aluminum or pot metal. original design called for a milled steel receiver, however that manufacturing is not available to me.
the other is in its early design stage, currently trying to determine whether its doable or not and also how it will work.
project name is FC-12, a top ejecting double barrel 12 gauge pump action shotgun. this is taking the Remington 1740 a step further, more than just bolting two shotguns together, totally merge two shotguns with a brand new receiver and action design. I'm also using a Mossberg 500 clone rather than a Remington 870 as that's what i have lying around. I plan on moving the ejection port to the top side of the gun, two ports, one for each barrel. a bit of rearranging and redesign of the shotgun to work wit ha different ejection system. two barrels, both welded together to make a double barrel. one extra wide receiver. a complex trigger group system that uses only one trigger but two hammers. to comply with the ATF, the trigger must be pulled twice to fire both barrels. otherwise its one shot per trigger pull. the magazines will also be welded together, to make one piece. one lock nut to secure the barrel to the gun. i'm also considering a different barrel system- threaded receiver + threaded barrel, the two will screw together. but that means the barrels has to be separate bound together by a band or other system.
one bead, one sight in the center of the gun.one stock, one pump. additional feature is a piticanny rail under the muzzle.
probably be either 12+2 or 16+2. 12 gauge, chambered for up to 3.5"
both muzzles made to accept different chokes.
the goal is to make a practical double barrel pump gun, it needs to be lighter, easier to hold, and less bulky. as hte action and barrel assemblies will weight the same weight is reduced in other parts- magazine tubes, stock parts, springs, trigger group, etc.
also as a possible ultimate ZPAW/PAW/SHTF gun, i would "happen" to have the trigger group designed in a way it can be select fired- single shot or double shot. double shot makes it a real cannon.

i'm also a hobby gunsmith
