We all know that aparently when someone goes missing, the first 48 hours are crucial.

Consodering this, me and my local posse of Z-day-waiting-enthusiasts have wondered what you would do in the first 48 hours of Z-Day.

We've come up with different ideas, that zombies would kill/infect most people in 48 hours, that they might start slow so only the "zombie ready" relise whats happening and make plans?

One thing which i am torn on, is do i rush into town (i live in a village) and stock up on supplies while everyone in a panick, or do i wait? If i rush, people might be violent before turning, also have to deal with zombies, and if its contained, how do i explain the stolen guns and wooden boards and tinned food? If i dont rush in, i dont have to worry about being caught loting etc, but i have more zombies to worry about.

So, my question Lost Zombies, what do YOU do in the first 48 hours? The example i want you to work from is you woke up to find reports of people eating other people and rising from the freshly dead, kind of like the news report on shaun of the dead. Also include where you live, village, suburbs, centre of a town/city so were able to judge how good it sounds.

first thing i'm doing is grabbing my cammies and boots (almost the two greatest things ever), then loading up grabbing all my weapons which is a lot and then loading my truck with my survival gear. After i get set to go i'm eating all of my perishable food so that it doesn't spoil and i can save my survival food. Before i even think about leaving my house. i'm going to sit back and wait for all the stupid people to die and when i feel things have calmed down i'm meeting up with my team and heading to the best location we can find. As far as supplies i have at least enough stuff to last for a few days that way i don't have to compete with as many living people to gather supplies.

I'd grab my gear n guns. all my supplies are ready to roll. My team, there immediate family, and my family have got this down. Many people may laugh at the idea of zombies or being prepare for any disaster, but that just shows how ignorant, and incompetent people can be. Just remember it will be the same people who will be begging for sanctuary and protection from the hoards of the living dead. It's better to have i and not need it then need it and not have it. for all you survivors who are prepared or getting prepped, kudos!
'Yes! That golden phrase,"Too have it and not need it, rather than need it and be S.O.L"
People ask my why i have tons of "junk", i just say. Hey you never know when it may come in handy!
In the first few hours people are going to rush to my home because it is also my Blade Store. Frankly I don't want to be there listening to "You have to give me a sword" You had your chance to buy one BEFORE the shit hit the fan, now that it's hit you want one for free? HA! So after putting everything in the safe, I'll make a discreet exit out the back and head into the bush while the rampaging mob of sheeple destroy my house looking for weapons. After the initial frenzy has died down I'll return, get a few more weapons ( the safe is fire and cyclone proof so if the house is leveled the safe will still be standing there.) and use them to barter for anything else I may need such as medical supplies, fuel, nubile young daughters etc. Although being that I live in a tourist town most of the people will be zeds by then or will have to succumbed to death from a lack of cafe latte.
Cafe latte! LMFAO!!!!!!! oh that's great I hear yea on that one.
I take mine balck and hi-test. I know of this knife store in Gatlinburg. I bought my bud a bowie in there a few years back when on vacation.
