Since the outbreak my dog and I (the last survivor in my family) have been jumping from house to house trying to survive. Right now we're currently held up in a house in an old neighborhood I lived in as a child.

Since the outbreak I've managed to acquire a couple of handguns and I always have my pull hook on hand. My pull hook is something I used to use as a bread vendor. It's about three feet long, metal, and has a hook and poker at the end. My dog is a golden retriever, she's not much of an "attack dog" but she's good for letting me know when danger is around.

I'm good with computers, I'm dependable because I believe the only way the human race is ever going to rebounding from this in any way is if people don't work together... but if you mess with me or my dog I wont think twice about locking you out with the zombies. I don't have time for people that are going to put me in any kind of danger.

If anybody is in Florida and needs a place to stay to get away from the zombies we're here. We move around a lot though so theres never a solid location. No place is ever safe for too long.

Most people on here just wanna barricade themselves in their homes just delaying their own death, you need to keep moving to a safer location until you can leave the cities all together. There's enough food and water to survive no matter where you end up from abandon cars, trucks and homes. Just avoid the infected ; )

It's a good lesson to learn and a hard one not to when the example is set by a stubborn family member which ends up resulting in you being the last one alive.
Thanks I appreciate the offer. I imagine one day it will come to having to start heading further north.
dude i live in florida and i wonder have you tought about long term zombies? once the city runs out of food they nee to migrte. same with you. i dont care how much food or water you have. youll still need to move from city to city. so when you start to run low on supplys in the city grab some and a car. please write back if you ever tought about this
Yes, I've thought about it and as bob quoted me in his reply:

"We move around a lot though so theres never a solid location. No place is ever safe for too long."

This goes city wise too. I prefer to stay in this area until we have to move on to another city because at least here I'm familiar with my surroundings and know where certain things might still be (i.e. supplies, shelter etc.).

And when it does come time to "jump ship" and move on we'll be heading north. Canada would be ideal because of the cold conditions and the undead not mixing to well but the journey will be taken in baby steps. The longer it takes to get there the safer we'll be I figure. As long as we lay low and make sure our mode of transportation stays reliable I think we'll be able to make it.
Awhile ago I was in miami and set up a shelter and left some supplies in it. It's an abbandoned concrete storehouse, it's about a 5 to ten minute jog from the pier on Hollywood beach. If you are ever down there check it out. I put a combination lock on it so if the lock is still there I made the combination 6-6-6
