Ever tried to make a head shot on a moving target? Law enforcement officers and military aside.

I tried once and its not that easy. And even if you're an L.E.O. or military, basic training is center mass.

So who in here think they can do it no problem, esp. when your life depended on it?

Well what are we talking about here? Rifles? Side arms?

I think it'd be a lot easier to shoulder a rifle and pull off a head shot as opposed to a pistol.
The training is center of mass so the person is rendered harmless but still has a chance to live.

Units trained to deal with terrorists are trained for headshots, so it's more of a question of what the situation is. Training just to get kill shots is just like training for any other skill.
Either with a sidearm or rifle. After 5 yards, my aim is crap with a pistol.

I never tried with a rifle. It just seems difficult, for a person with little to no experience with guns being able to pull off head shots yanno?
I have had training with a large assortment of firearms, both in the military and law enforcement ( now retired ) hitting your target in a stressful situation is difficult, no matter what training you have, you can train all you want, but if you’re fighting for your life it changes things. If you have ever watched a movie or TV where you see someone trying to shot from a moving vehicle…yeah, that’s BS the reality is ( and I have seen this happen ) you’re going to shot through the hood and kill the engine. now i have never been in a combat situation, nor have to shot at anyone, but i have talked to a lot of people that have. All you can do is practice, practice, practice…try running as hard as you can, get your heart rate up, run a combat course …it will make you a better marksmen, but still no substitute for a target that fights back
