Hideout, Bunkers , Fort suggestions? im going to make a comic sooo i need good places 4 survivors
Im MicKe and i like to draw a lot, also creepy things like zombies, empty streets,post-apocalyptic zones, etc. also I want suggestions for a place of my histroy to take.A few Mercenary, Crazy , and Fearless dudes survbived the holocaust and they are in............ making resistance against , but suddenly their home is no longer safe...

They could fortify the bunkers at Normandy. Using the beachhead as a depot, using boats on the channel as a highway to any location in the surrounding area. just an idea :P

The big city. Using towering office buildings to your advantage. Hiding in AC ducts, vending machines for food, dropping desks out of windows. The possibilites are endless.

i would say get dawn of the dead status and hide out in a mall but then again malls are more open places for them to get in so........i would say hide underground anywhere thats underground (The cellar is the safest place) lol.....nah but really maybe a bomb shelter would be pretty convinient dont you think so mates?...

A story I wrote years ago had the survivors fortify a wal-mart super center. All the wal-marts around her are made the same. They have the glass doors up front and the rest of the doors are all metal including. the doors on the automotive department which was there motor pool area. The front doors they parked uhauls/ryder/moving truck type trucks and then flatened the tires sealing the doors. The lawn and garden area is chain linked with a "roof" on it. They used that area for gardening as well as the roof of the building. They have skylights that allow in light and they have rooms that are fortified that they have the money in that can be used as a panic room in the case of zeds getting in.
There are some down sides to any place you box yourself in but this one still has alot of potential

A scout hall...
They generally have three Entry points a storage area and a few have an upstairs office as well as kitchens.
They are also really simply designed and easy to draw.
