Speaking of complications. Do you remember that magwell on those AK47's I showed you on Krebs AK's? After much searching I have broke down and emailed Krebs about the part. No one else makes them that I can find anyways. I can't find one anywhere to compare to in order to make my own. Very frustrating to think that Krebs is the only person who has ever thought of this.

AKs are pretty much slapped together in a machine shop. You might be able to go to a local machine shop and get what you need and call it "Custom Made". Although you'll pay more than if you just got what you need from Krebs.

Well I haven't heard back from Krebs yet, but I have a feeling that its not a part that their going to sell. Because putting it in place may alter the functional aspect of the rifle if not done correctly. All it is basically is a flang that is pop rivetted into place on the receiver. I think I can make it, and probably make it more functional than the one Ive seen. I'll just have to play with it, and see what I can come up with. Its not like taking pop rivets out is something thats hard to do. I may go to a machine shop and just take one with me and tell them what I want, see what they can come up with. I have a pop rivet gun so that might be my best bet.
