if you think you know, don't reply. i want real answers. I don't want to hear about, sonic frequencies that melt brains. i don't want to hear about the guy who would hide in a grocery store, because if you're really thinking of hiding in a place like that, you're dead already.
Do you really know how to handle a gun? Because if you've only read the zombie survival guide, that guy has deluded himself.
Surviving an outbreak isn't truly about about firepower or numbers. It is the ability to adapt to an environment.
Also, it most likely won't ever happen. But, it's a nice thought.

Is anyone truly prepared for ZOMBIES? If you're prepared to take care of yourself and your family in a terrible emergency then you are as prepared as anyone can be. Food, cash, water, weaponry, transportation, generator, fuel, there are a lot of things to get to be prepared. Am I truly prepared? Yes, I am.
But what about protection. what if someone snaps and trys to steal and desert. what happens when supplies are low and it means you eat or your friend/family. what happens if you or your family/friend become infected. Could you kill them? what happens when the light dies away and it's you alone in the dark?
What about protection? Like I said I have guns and ammo and back up. What if someone snaps and tries to steal and desert? Like I said I have guns and ammo and back up.

What happens when supplies are low and it means you eat or your friend/family eat? I hunt. I can grow a garden under lights or outside. I am not dependent on others for my basic needs.

What happens if you or your family/friend become infected, Could you kill them? Uh, yeah.

What happens when the light dies away and it's you alone in the dark? The sun rises everyday. When the sun doesn't come up then nothing is alive. I'm not afraid of the dark. I'll burn dried out Zombie corpses.

Don't be defeated!

STAY ALIVE!!!
Truly prepared? No.
I've never fired a gun before.
I don't know very much about gardening and I've never been hunting.
The list goes on.
I'd like to think, however, that I could survive for a bit leeching off the remmnants of humanity.
But when that's all gone, I wouldn't know what to do.
The future looks bright.

I'd like to think, however, that I'm more likely to survive than the aforementioned "Let's build a giant machine that blasts music/sound at a high enough decibel to boil a zombie's brain".
Get out and learn. The internet is a wonderful thing. For years the lever action carbine in the top picture, a Marlin 336 30/30, sat in my closet not working because I let my brother use it to hunt some 25 years ago. He didn't take care of it and jammed up some parts. I didn't know how to fix it so I greased it up wrapped it in rags and there it sat. One night I decided to look on the net for help. I found diagrams and parts suppliers and even a video on YouTube on how to break it down. The second picture is me shooting the same carbine a week after fixing it myself. It's a tack driver now. If you're interested then look into it. If you're too young to purchase your own weapons talk to your parents about it. It's a huge responsibility to own a firearm. You need to be mature enough to own one and you need to know how to use it. It is a tool like anything else. Like many other tools it can be deadly. Specifically it is a tool made to be deadly. That being said, you can have a lot of fun with familyand friends on the rage, plinking and competing. f you are under age don't touh the thing unless you have your parent's permission and know what you're doing.

Keep some camping euipment around. Back pack, sleeping bag, compass, sterno and stove. Canned foods can be cookd right out of the can. There re also YouTube videos on making camp stoves and wood heaters.

Excellent, I see we have similar tastes and ideas in viable firearms post Z-Day...stay alive brother...
I have access to many weapons depending where I am at any given time. This is what I have in my home. They are simple and easy to use. I plan on getting some others in the near future. They won't be any more complicated except for an AR or SAIGA.

ahh...another Glock man!! I love my combat tupperware! I have a 21 and a 17
is that a next gen fighting ka-bar? (knife in the middle)
I don't think so. It was a freebie I got years ago from a dirtball. He didn't need it where he was going.
hey you seem to obviously know guns. i have a question: how hard is it to pump a shotgun? or cock a lever action rifle. just somethin im wondering.
It isn't hard at all if the gun works properly. They are made to do that. Some actions, pump and lever and bolt, are "worked" to be even smoother and slicker for speed. The average actions will work with very little pressure from an adult or teen.
