1. Kaine, everyone here has interest in making this a reality.
2. We haven't been approached by any TV or Film companies, as we have yet to complete the project.
3. If you are very serious, then spread the word to everyone you know, put up stickers, submit content. Things are moving along, just be patient

Liking the sound of it..

But i have a small nagging curiosity..
The goal is to wait untill LZ have enough community submitted pictures and videos so that we can compile a zombie documentary..

Someone from LZ is going to compile the footage and pictures into a documentary format programme.

Wouldent it be better to wait until LZ have all the material. and then approach known film-makers. or a company to make the shots into a more professional version of the documentary LZ would have compiled..

I know this could have cost alot of money. But starting a donate button could help, or gathering enthusiasts and staging events (Its alot of bother, but im sure it will generate profit, and create giant interest rather than smalltime viral marketing, such as stickers etc (Which is an excellent idea i must say) (I know im the new guy probably coming out with ideas you/LZ have thought of a million times... but hay, i can try)

Lost has a degree in film and has won film festivals for some of his short projects. We have TOTAL 100% confidence in his ability. This is a project that we came up with and that we will do on our own. If after we make it, some big company wants to fund it to help market it and get it put in theaters, then okay. But we will be making the movie not a company. Funding would be great to help spread the word, but this is our vision and we want control not some big wig.

We will be having a way to donate to the site when the 2.0 version comes out.

I know our "smalltime viral marketing" efforts seem just like that, but we have reached huge successes in under 10 months that companies with huge marketing teams would love to have.

cool i know what i wanted to find out
and i dident realise lost has a film degree. as on the 'getting started' part of the site it just says 'LZ will compile'

im gonna keep up what im doing.. trying to help make material..
im not trying to offend you with the 'smalltime viral marketing' comment.
Im enthusiastic about your vision so please.. dont get irritated by me.. it was just a subject i felt needed explaining abit more.
