I'm going to create a zombie video game and would like influence from this community

Hi, my name is Johnny and I come out to the lost zombies community with an offer, my offer is to create a modification of the video game "Crysis 2", I wish to have the community influence the modification, and have the entire storyline based on the lost zombies storyline, I also wish to include any weapon requests that the community has and if anyone can contribute with 3d models, characters, ect then it will be highly appreciated.

Our current plan is an open world Survival FPSRPG with extreme realism based on the lost zombies universe

We planned to include, 4 cities, multiple small towns that you can loot for items, weapons and anything else if you so desire. As well as the player being able to make decisions on where they stay, how they prepare it for night, closing windows, boarding them then covering them with some sort of cloth, even cooking in the proper places can prevent a hoards at the door, if the player desires they could take a ship out to see however there are complications such as weather, obtaining fish, fresh water & many more challenges:

I was thinking about having 3 stages within the mod, one is the "Survival" stage, this is when you are surviving in your home, collecting supplies ect. The second stage would involve a base or something similar with 7-14 survivors, the next phase would be colonization, IE supplies are loaded on to a train and then a colony is placed in a remote area, the survivors then travel Via Train, Boat, Airplane, Chopper. (Remember, I stated that the player can make shitty choices) I would suppose if the player traveled via Train it would have to be protected since the train would be noisey, when an airplane touches down zombies may swarm the area, when a chopper lands, where does it land, will it land in the street, will it land right were the colony is planned, these are all choices a player must make, as for time, do you think an hour should = an hour then a player can sleep through the night for a specific amount of time.
Is anyone even interested in this?

I like the idea, as there has been talk of getting a LZ Game Thrown together. In the talks we are obviously more ambitious than what our skillets may imply. Me Myself i can be of creative assistance as i have somewhat a understanding of what we`d need. outside and Inside the game mod.

Not talking skills to sew it together but more in the area of writing and creative assistance.

johnny, quick question do you host a Ventrillo or a Teamspeak or can afford to do so?

Also  I am curious of your Skills since you are suggesting this and all. and do you have others  beyond of Lz willing to assist?

Sidenote: you might want to wait for Battlefield 3 and use that engine for a Mod instead, seeing how they have fully Collapsible buildings etc. Or Use Elements From Both Crysis and Battlefield 3 and incorporate it into a Gmod Modification.
Frosbite 2 will not be released IIRC, and the building destruction isn't great I played the alpha, and gmod is a horribly limited engine, however I could do an online RP segment for gmod if you so desire, I also have a vent server but I'm never on it as it is for my garrysmod community

Sure did look great in the multiplayer trailer. And what you experienced  that was in alpha so much might have changed since then or will change.

let me know how Battlefield 3 fares when you enter beta as to judge it before would be a mistake.

But Crysis 2 engine is a Powerful one indeed, not a bad choice to get something good on, all depends on the skills of the modders though.

My bad i was assuming you would work with Garrymod  and incorp Crysis elements/engine to get what you are looking at. An Assumption on my end, my bad.

An Rp Would be of interest to many here, but  then again how detailed would you manage to get it as people on here have high standards. Talking both gfx wise and variational ingame, in ways  like Dead Island.

Well what does that exactly imply, being highly skilled and in what?
I'm highly skilled an experienced in the Cryengine 3, in regards to level design 3d modelling and other categories that are needed in order to pull a mod together
i actually am (ATM) creating a giant zombie game :p  not going to leak anything bout it, but if you want i can make a bunch of guns for you :3
