Go find out. I'll stay in here. By the way, you change, Ima gonna have to put you down.
They either lied or were bitten by Quizzlings(mentally disturbed people who think they are zeds).
as a virus there is every possibility that some people could be immune in so much as they could become carriers...the number would be very small and the chances of them surviving long enough to have their blood collected and tested are miniscule.. but they could exist and could be the key to unlocking an antivirus.. but who knows for sure
thats very true, and its all thanks to genetic diversity. the very thing that would allow the virus to spread through out world so quickly may also be our saving grace and that connectivity. people from all over the world coming together and having children. no one virus can possibly effect every single person in existence. its the law of averages, some where out there are chose individuals gifted with genetic immunity to the disease. of course there is also the chance that may still carry the virus with in them even though it wont effect them. still finding these chose few will be next to impossible especial given the hectic nature of a zombie infestation. how ever as the human race dwindels the chances of finding these few sky rocket as it is likely that their immunity will give them the edge to surviving. they may even sire children who will carry on the immunity and one day re populate the planet. simple evolution the strong and gifted survive while the weak and normal fall behind.

First there was the collapse of civilization: anarchy, genocide, starvation. Then when it seemed things couldn't get any worse, we got the plague. The Living Death, quickly closing its fist over the entire planet. Then we heard the rumors: that the last scientists were working on a cure that would end the plague and restore the world. Restore it? Why? I like the death! I like the misery! I like this world!"

hauntingly beautiful
Oh hell yeah!!  I love that quote!  Fits well with this forum lol!

a lot of medical donation facilities *plasma and blood donations* don't allow you to donate if you have ever been to Europe due to there being infections and diseases there that are not in America *and vice versa* and therefore unable to effectively fight off without medical help, while the generations of people in Europe naturally can fight it off without even needing a kids pill for it. the same with us, people here in america actually have four different diseases naturally on us that have actually wiped out a tribe in central america just from us filming them....

although this is a virus meant to reanimate the dead so all of this could be irrelevant but it is possible within the second generation it could be possible to survive a small amount of it....*a scratch rather than a bite.*

As you said, the virus reanimates the dead. We may all have it in us and may never show any sickness until we have contact with the catalyst. The catalyst in this situation is death. Some folks with weaker immune systems could get sick. I don't believe there is any immunity though. People bringing up immunity are likely hoping that they are the Special ONE. Or that they could be the Special ONE. The Special ONE is probably a rat in a cage in a lab surrounded by hungry zeds.
i disagree..  anyone with immunity would feel far from special in reality, they'd be far more likely to be overcome by guilt in the initial stages at seeing all their loved ones sucumb to the virus, they would not be aware of their immunity initially and wonder why they had lived when everyone else had died...  they would become isolated and possibly hunted, they may be unwilling to be tested, they could spend their survival time hiding not only from zeds but from survivors who might be hunting them to take them to scientist (assuming any survived and had the tools and resources to continue testing...   one of us "in the know" might be more willing to comply but even then you'd have to consider the possibility of botched testing or even fave doctors choosing to dissect you rather than simply draw blood.. in the way some people nowadays are frightened of being organ donors in case the ER let them die after an accident to use their organs...  Its a fucked up reality to find yourself in...  It would be ignorant to ignore the possibilities of immunity but equally the variables or such a theory are endless

Overcome by guilt if they give a s**t....

I think survivors would be more worried about surviving then hunting down someone they think might be immune. Survival takes, planning, energy and many times cooperation between groups. All this is tiring. Maybe once things have settled in and "more" secure areas are built up people will have time to look for a cure.

If you get a chance read Apocalypse Of the Dead by Joe McKinney. In the very end you may have your rat. ;-)

Not this again.   You get bit, you die, you turn, you get shot in the head, and you die again.  That pretty much sums it up.
