Improv. Weapons
Not everyone has a fully equipped armoury for a basement, so initially when the outbreak comes we're going to have to be creative and build makeshift weapons out of everyday household objects.
For example: a couple of cans of bakedbeans in a plastic bag, swing it around and you could get a good amount of skull-cracking, brain-smashing force behind it. Not to mention it's easily cleanable and doubles as a good way to carry your food.
Or make a molotov cocktail of sorts from that bottle of meths under the laundry sink and an old dishcloth.
We have fully functioning brains and they don't. Let's use it to our advantage.
So if a zombie turned up on your doorstep right now, how would you kill it?

I would push my arms in front of me and yell "kami kami kah" when that failed I wound grab an umbrella shove it done the zeds throat and open it...not dead but not able to function either.

Grab it by the throat cant bite you if you have it by the neck learned that from snakes then throw it outside and lock the door.

I was actually just thinking about this before. I would lock the door to keep it out temporarily, then utilize the new set of knives i just got in my kitchen. Cleaver, serrated blades, ect. Perfect.
