in a sudden out break, how fast do you think our governmenet would act?
do u think they would try to warn us or would they try to cover it up.

true, true but that is just one scenrio who knows there are multiple scenrios that are possible but I gurantee you this if such an outbreak occurs the very first steps the government will do is to sceure all the gold in there fort in california thier gold resverve will prove invaulable to maintain an aspect of inluence on the world since gold has never been more vauleable in history before. It is a possiblilty that the government is invovled with this and is for it.

also the world health organization is not even considered closing the boarders right now it spread to india, china, some other parts of europe and we are getting more cases in u.s.
also being good is a point of view to another it may differ to evil that is why i like to be neutral 90% of the time remember this

I think there is a degree of cynicism in a number of the replies here. If you consider the response times of relative disasters in any given localised area and I think you may have a point. Of course who can forget Hurricane Katrina. But aren’t we considering a global crisis here and lets face it the world has already seen a hidden but deadly plague sweep the world already. “The Great wall street tsunami” created by flesh eating zombies wankers (and no, I did not miss-spell bankers) threaten all countries across the world and turned more than its fair share of bank accounts into dried up corpses. I think the world as a whole has done quite well in scraping away some of the shit that we have all had to suffer. I can’t really see why we couldn’t do it again….??

in that case, much of the world has done absolute squat. governments got together and proposed "regulation" in the finance sector, while they forked over hundreds of millions in strings free bailouts to the very bunch of people who always cry "free market!" and "no government interference!"

Well then dont take it from my word do your own research ask your own questions, for example I have been studying political science for years now and my military background realy helps to in addition to what i have portrayed the government has plans invovleing every small incident that occurs they know what proper moves they need to take in full effect if such outbreak occurs.

You should always be ready to evade or handle any threat yourself. In any disaster, you should be able to take care of yourself and loved ones for a couple of weeks. Gov't plans usually say 3 days. The gov't likes to assume that it won't be significantly hampered by a large disaster. A short tempered girl named Katrina begged to differ.

In referring to the US, then four possible scenarios would occur.
1. If the outbreak occurred in a single state, then they would cover it up as civil unrest or something of the sort. or if the outbreak was reaching dangerous heights, they would shut the state down and quarantine the boarders, while trying to warn us for possible contaminants leaving the state while enforcing the same stuff that is still going on when Swine came from Mexico.
2. if the outbreak occurred in several states, they wouldn't act right away, but only report these "incidents" to all the news stations with a brief case full of green to help them modify the story. in other words, come up with some shit excuse just to pacify the unintelligent majority saying things like "there is nothing to fear." or "No need to worry for these are separate events." while everything is going to hell in a hand basket.
3. Self preservation, the white house including all staff and security. The pentagon, all of the advisers and its security. as well the congress and senate will be on the priority list to secure and displace to a secure location, like towards the main bomb shelter that's been sitting there since the cold war. while the rest of the US as well its already weakened military, will have to make do with out any form of leadership aside from useless broadcasts from the shelter.
4. all the above, Pretty much, a repeat of Catrina only on a National Scale. The real branches of government will turn power over to various organizations, such as FEMA, and WHO and pack up-n-leave, after leaving an executive order to declare a national Martial law. leaving the fate of the people in the hands of inexperience organizations and undermanned military.
Its possible that they might press the big red button while aiming at a city or two, but they are smart enough knowing that Nukes will do more damage than good, so we'll see one or more citys vanish when the shit hits the fan.
