Biting, straching and zombie blood getting into your body, the moan cant infect you but drive you insane.
Wear armour to protect you. This is not a cure-able.

It depends on what sort of infection your talking about -- and what virus it is spreading the infection.
There are the afore mentioned of the virus spreading through blood contact.
Others believe the virus will become advanced and become airborne and move that way. Some believe it can be transmitted through animals and insects (think malaria and mosquitoes) or water sources (like the virus that causes Camper's Curse).

Three quick things.
1) Don't get near zombies
2) Try to get protective things from mosquitoes and what not, just like most people do now.
3) Find a way to purify food and keep your food safely stored.
Nevermind, four.
4) Use basic common sense, the worse thing you could do in a panic inducing situation is freaking out and losing all common sense you have.

geting any part of the infected being in and/or on a open wound,that includs blood,teath,flesh.any part of them basicly.
tip.gogles,roit or gas mask and/or anything that protects your eyes,mouth,and nose.
cover and treat wounds,from as small as a barire cuts to a gashes anywear.barires are little plants that have thorns...its like a rose bush but not as big but they usaly group together.
leather,its hard can keep u warm and most importaly its tough to bite though,mabe a combat vest over it and combat boots.just in case u have to kick a zombie or stumb ur toe,its going to hurt period but it wont hurt as bad wearing the boots

biting scratching
zombie blood or flesh spatter into your mouth eyes or open wound
sexual contact with zed (EW)

wear hard to bite through clothes and protective gear
wear a facemask and googles and cover all wounds
keep long range weapons handy
and stay alert

That one is my favorite. Personally, if someone is stupid enough to try and do the deed with a zed, by all means go ahead -- that is what we call the Law of Natural Selection.
