Hello fellow survivors. I joined a couple days ago and I think this is probably the best site I've ever stumbled upon in all of my two-and-a-half years of StumbleUpon usage. However, it seems that I have been able to make a complete moron of myself in this small amount of time as a survivor. I've made some derogatory comments on submitted content and, well, let's just say that some more seasoned users were kind enough to let me know I was out of line. For more details, just visit my page. Anyway, I live in Prince George, BC, Canada. Thanks to Canada's excellent HealthCare system, there were very few cases of the superflu. Once the Campion virus struck, the Canada-US border was practically sealed, and incoming traffic was slowed to a trickle. Once the major military bases in Vancouver, Vernon, Toronto, and Halifax fell to zombies, all hope was lost and the hordes of zombies overtook the ten southern provinces. Thanks to the military's quick response, all bridges crossing BC's Fraser River were destroyed and most citizens on the west side of the river were safe for a few months. But there was nowhere to run...

I am currently hiding out in a small forest by the riverbank. I have a very commanding view of the river, Highway 97, and the railway. At the moment I am trying to find myself some good weapons. All I have right now is a large kitchen knife and a pellet gun with something like 800 pellets. Not that those will do me any good for much longer. They're only effective against Runners... sometimes.
