Runners are just zombies that didn't die, right? so They can move around better, run, etc. because they are alive. Does that mean you could, say, drown them or something? tell me what you think.

They're still a zombie, but because all the affects that come with, you know dying and all that, didn't set in, they can still have some mobility. So no, drowning wouldn't work.
I disagree.

I think that runners are still living breathing humans however the campion virus has altered their brain state and caused them to revert to primal behaviors and primitive instincts.

I think drowning would work... at least until the body died and then perhaps it is likely to reanimate.

Just read the time line, turns out you guys are right lol.
Im in the frame of mind that runners are the in between stage. They are zombies that just haven't died due to the virus. Should a Runner die, the virus would likely animate it as if the virus had killed them in the first place.
