Left 4 dead, realistic?

i agree with all of you, but this one the most, it does seem like most "zombie" games aren't really zombie games. Most of them (resident evil, left 4 dead, dead rising), are just an infection, that causes a mutation, not zombification.

house of the dead had realistic zombies. slow moving shamblers that just wouldn't die unless completely incapacitated. (it was an arcade shooter)

I doubt there will be special infected :P, especially ones with tongues that grasp you from 40 yards away or vomit on you, in the case of the latter, I sure hope not

I think one of my favorite depictions of "zombies" was in the movie 28 Weeks Later. I as a pretty happy L4D gamer, but I think the zombies in the game are just a little unrealistic.

well there is just not one definition stuck behind the word "zombies",, tend to the many diff types of zombies.
I agree tho, L4D zombies shouldnt be called zombies but "Crazies", more a proper term. In the case that they don't bite to feed, they just beat people to death. But i see how they could be associated, if that scenario where to manifest in real life, i'm sure every one of you would be calling them zombies, what else wouldcha call em at first glance?!

In MY opinon... No it's probably like nothing that would set that close to Reality. The mutations they have in that game would take years to actually become reality. Plus there would not only be humans who turn into the "living dead". It'd be animals too.... So there would be actually MORE problems than probably in L4D and L4D2... Plus the whole trying to stay alive thing couldn't just be about 2 hours long then it's everything is okay and back to "normal". (Yes I beat that game in about 2 hours or so with my boyfriend, cousin, and dad MULTIPLE times,)
