Lost Zombie Short Fiction Book
Interested persons should submit their stories to Bill (Bruin) (bruinlz@yahoo.com). All submissions must be in accordance with the Lost Zombies Timeline. pieces should be no longer than 7,500 words in length (short story length=1,000 to 7,500 words).
Those whose written submissions are selected will receive 100 Lost Zombies Outbreak Stickers. If the book is published, further compensation (including a copy of the book) may be provided.
We will also need some artwork to go with our excellent writing. We will need one piece of Artwork for each section of the timeline. Writers may also team up with Artists to do one piece of art for each individual story. Artists will recieve 75 stickers for each piece that is chosen.
Not all stories or artwork will be chosen for this project.

Basically this is taking longer than I originally thought. At present I have combined all of the different submissions (with the exception of art) into one document and have begun reading and taking notes. At present I am a little less than 1/3 of the way through them. I will make a weekly update on progress as I know several of you are anxiously awaiting word. For those who may have submitted and don't follow this discussion, please pass the word if you can. Thank you!

The main short story submissions are pretty much over now unless I find that there is a gap that needs filling. The 3 pieces of modern poetry are probably you're best bet. Try a modern, gritty style that reflects the start, middle and ending of the breakdown of society/a person's life or a person's journey through a hard time etc

Ok emails have been sent out to those who's story/ies have been picked for the draft version. Check junk folders etc as our email tends to get cuaght up by them. If you have not been chosen there may still be a chance for submissions to be added as this is the first draft.
All the stories were great and those picked were chosen on their ability to fit into the theme of the book, which meant some stories were excellent but did not fit into the overall theme of the book so were not chosen.
I'll keep you posted on how/if things progress. You can message me also if you have questions.
