My group is now down to my girlfriend and I, and we have taken refuge at her aunt's in East Texas. It's a nice house, but WAY too open... Luckily there are materials left over from when it was built. I've closed off the windows and left one door unblocked but trapped and another blocked and only openable from the inside. There is obviously still electricity here, but I'm not sure for how long. The aunt went to California, I guess maybe she decided to visit Pacific Playland......
Otherwise, there is plenty of 12 gauge ammo, even though it's not my preference, but every little bit helps. It's a rural area, and the house is surrounded by a pine forest. I would like for a better vantage point, but I will have to work with what I have. We are expecting the uncle back at the end of June, at which point we will move to another place. If anyone is in the area, we have food and shelter. I can provide protection and my girlfriend can cook :). Judging by the population sign down the road, there are approximately 6700 zombies in the area, so I may not post for a while. Until then, stay frosty and stay vigilant.
