Personally, i was at home alone. I was innocently playing my mindless, zombie-killing video game. Mid-kill, my phone had started to ring and when i answered it was like my entire world had skipped Purgatory and went straight to Hell. It had been my best friend, Adriane, she was breathing heavily and sounded frantic, she was speaking so quickly the only words that i understood were "Hurry... Get Out... Zombies..." Thats when i turned off the game and turned on the television. I couldn't have beleived my eyes, every station said one thing 'PUBLIC BRODCASTING: If You Can Read This Evacuate The City!!! DANGER: Acquire Weaponry At All Cost! DO NOT STAY INDOORS'. Then I got the hell out of my house, but before i left i remembered my father had kept two pistols in the basement, so grabbed my largest bag and took 10 boxes of amunition, the pistols and a case of frozen waterbottles. I grabbed my brothers' car keys and "barrowed" his TrailBlazer. Luckily for me, my brother was a weapons enthutheist and kept several machine guns in the back of the car. I remembered of what i thought as i drove through the apocalyptic ruins of my city, i kept thinking about my priorities. I knew i had to find somwhere to have as a base of operations, and i also knew i had to find Adriane and my other friends somehow. I grabbed my phone and dialed Adriane's number, i waited for it to ring and it felt years. My heart was racing, i needed her to answer, i loved her like she was my sister. i remember her words as she picked up the phone, "NO TOUCHIES!!!" *BANG!* "Alice is that you?!" I had almost started to cry, "Adriane!! Oh God, where are you!? I have the TrailBlazer, I'll come and get you!!" Thats when i look over on the side of the road and see one of "them". A little girl hungrily cornering a couple who seemed to be crying, her parents. I could hear their screams as she tore them apart. I couldn't bear to watch, i whent from 35 to 60 just to get far enough away from their screams of sadness. "Alice, I'm ok, i'm still at my house and you won't beleive who i found!!" i went from 60 to 100. "I'm on my way." *click*
