National Geographic says Zombie Virus Possible

That National Geographic article is wrong in respect to "rage" virus. In 28 Days Later it was not airborne it was through blood...which could be sprayed into any mucus membrane and spread infection, but it could not be caught just by breathing.

Lost Zombies' Rabies Flu Hybrind

 

We been there, done that.  We were there two weeks before they were.  It is probably where they got the idea.  I googled rabies / influenza / zombie and got nothing in early october before I posted on the site.  I did not want to piss on anyone elses turf.  Until NG web page got picked up by other sites, we showed up in Google ahead of them.

Well, Rabies make other animals (dogs, cats, racoons, etc.) attack other animals and humans without cause, so I suppose it's possible.

I've read tht, it is possible, something about rabies to add the madness , flu to make it spread quick, and ebola to male them bloody up and spew guts out, rele scary
also did watched the "truth about zombies" thing they aired, u can watch it on NG site

Biological Warfare is very popular, wipe out a whole area from a distance, but keep resources and building intact. who knows what will be invented.  Turn an opposing country into zombies and no one would care if you killed them all.

What we're not considering here is that someone could also weaken the virus to make it effective for only so long of a time, or to make it effective to only such an extent - this is the way that many Bio or Chem weapons work - that way, it doesn't cause Collateral Damage if done properly.

Of course, it would be nearly impossible to foresee how and how far any weapon or illness will spread, but then again, there are people that get paid massive amounts and have amazing training and technology at their disposal, to estimate things like that, and if you look at the short history of NBC weapons, it's easy that they do their job very well.

Also, it is possible that some labs might try things like this just to see what they can accomplish or make harder to accomplish, and while I've never heard of any such places having any slip-ups before, it is possible that a strain might make it's way out of the complex.

Not to mention, as ludicrous as it seems and as little as it's been heard of, there are some people who actually do what they can to unleash Hell, and maybe one of those people can get their hands on the stuff that does it. Humans are smart, determined, and above all else, unstable.
