I think skeptics just got knocked off their high-horse, that's what.

Well, folks, I believe this is a turning point in zombie history. A scientific journal finally acknowledging the zombie virus. Wow.

Yeah, who'd wake up one day and think, "Hm... I think I'll wipe out 75% of all humans on the face of this planet with a zombie virus."

 

The one thing we can (Should, actually) be scared of is if foreign tensions get hotter and they take action by making a virus similar to Campion or Solanum.

Russia would make it. It has been a while since the Reds were big players and will be even longer till their large gas supplies will give them power. Besides, the are one of two counties to have strains of Polio in their labs so who knows what else they have.

Good point. They've been kind of out-of-sight and almost out-of-mind for the past few years in terms of tech... Wait, they have Polio? Jesus. You've got a point, god knows what could be in those labs. But then again, it goes back to why? Why would someone attempt to eradicate the human race like that? Certainly not for world domination, any fool with half a brain knows you couldn't clean up all the infected after unleashing your contagent. If they do, though, I hope they realize we Americans aren't goin' down without one helluva fight.

Because...everyone WANTS zombies. We dress ourselves up like zombies. We stock up to protect ourselves from zombies. We watch zombie movies. We make zombie movies. We join zombie themed social networking sites!

 

Some crazy scientist gets a huge ego because he figures out how to do it after watching Dawn of the Dead and getting a little curious...then gets a god complex because he CAN do it...then realizes..."hey...these bastards only pay me $30K a year to work my ass of in a lab 50 hours a week around deadly toxins while they bark orders...I'll show them!" Then he spikes the coffee, and all hell breaks loose. The virus is out.

 

Come on. Why wouldn't they want to do that? It solves overpopulation. It solves famine. It  cuts polution down drastically. Man, just thinking about the $1 a gallon gas prices has me wishing someone were crazy enough to do it...

 

75% of the population dead leaves around 2billion living. Imagine how much better the world could seem in someone's eyes with only 2billion people.

nah it was $13 a gallon here in 2009, it went down a bit then this year it's the highest it's ever been so at least $13 atm

It's $3.14 a gallon here right now. Which is ridiculous. It was "only" like $2.50 a gallon a couple months ago, and I was bitching about it.

 

Shit, even after the 9/11 thing gas only went to $4something for a day or two. Then it dropped back. It's been slowly climbing to what it is now since then.

its £1.60 a litre here atm so a gallon = 4.5 litres

 

£1.60 x 4.5 = £7.20

 

2009 exchange rate - about $14.40 per gallon

 

current exchange rate =  $11.51 per gallon
