nuclear power in zombie take over

Nuke plants have fail safes for disasters,but ultimatly the plant can take care of itself but of course needs humans to change the rods and keep an eye on all the controls, to generate more/less power things like that but in the event where a meltdown is close the plant would shut it self down completly
speaking of though those things are amazingly tough, would be a perfect zombie hideout the towers would make a good sniper point, and you would always have power

That would suck. 25+ nuclear meltdowns AKA multi Chernobyls in the States?
I don't know anything about powerplants but it ain't like the Simpsons :P

I'm pretty sure a nuclear power plant shuts itself down in case of meltdown or other types of disaster.
