my weapon of choice, my 870 express 12 guage - Home Defense Model
- And if they spell like you , then i'd probably shoot them and fend for myself.

here we go

So I've not already chosen my squad, but we've already been out on the field doing our business.

we've got

Jason, our marksman. been shooting every kind of gun imaginable since he was old enough to aim
Dylan, crazy asshole. willing and able to do just about anything, even a little reanimated necrophelia...
Speak, strategist. can pull a half assed plan out of anywhere just in time to get us out of any situation

We are all pretty much armed to the teeth, but if we were down to one weapon each itd probably be as such:

Jason would stick with his 30ot6, I've seen him pick off a headshot from 150yards with that beast

Speak has been rockin his dual .357s. nothing special but his abidexterity is really noticable

Dylan found himself an MP5 hanging off an undead SWAT, but knowing him, he'd just stick with his axe. solid steel so no chance of the handle breaking

As for me? I've got me a sawn off shotgun. I hammered the end of the barrel down a little too so it shoots more of a horizontle line of buckshot compared to the usual cone. very effective for multiple head shots.


now for the mall... I've recently come to learn that a mall is basically the worst place possible to hole up. sure theres lots of space and random shit to loot, but every mall I've seen has been made with glass walls in the front, and theres about nothing sold or kept in the mall for long term food sources. just food court food which for the most part will go bad real quick. I'd take what I can and get the hell out fast.

An interesting question surely.

Friends:
Sean-He made Eagle Scout and could out MacGuyver Macguyver. Give this guys some rope and a knofe and he can build you a howitzer.
Isaac-Marine with two tours in Iraq under his belt, knows his shit, period. He's also a medieval weapons EXPERT as in, trained with them, fought with them (mock battles of course)
Seely-the biggest Nurse I've ever seen, a 10 year Martial Artist and the person who convinced me that the Katana, while a very effective weapon, is about as useful as a truckload of dead rats in a tampon factory when fighting zombies.

Weapons:
Sean will undoubtedly go for something easy to use, clean, maintain and find ammo for, a 30-30 Winchester.
Isaac, after being trained in the use of nearly every modern military rifle, will go for his M-1 in .308
Seely will undoubtedly choose a .270
I will pick up my Mace (8 flanged italian style) and my own Marlin 30-30 with a .357 double action revolver (Most likely a Ruger GP-100)

Part of the fun of zombies is imagining all the weapons we'd love to have to fight them with...few people take into consideration, as with the MP5, the care an maintenance that needs to go into such a weapon to keep it functioning properly. Lower tech weapons are far more valuable and less likely to fail you than their modern counterparts...

I'd honestly pack away my loved ones in a safe area, and then give weapons to the three people who were the most bat-shit crazy of the group.
