Other threats as a result of apocalypse
Alrighty, so we all know that #1 on the list of things to be wary of in a zombie apocalypse is zombies. But what about other threats? As a result of desperation, there will most likely be scavengers and marauders attacking you for supplies. The hysteria will probably cause a few survivors to go completely insane produce a few blood cults (most likely killing in a futile attempt at gaining salvation). So, what do you do? And name any other threats likely to occur from a zombie apocalypse.

I've explored this topic in several stories. Disease, will be a problem, so will gangs. Then there is the people who released the virus, be they government or fanatic. No ever said it was an accidental release. Injury will also be a killer, a sprained ankle today could get you killed tomorrow, a broken limb will be almost certain death. A toothache could drive you to the point of insanity.

Think of this....
No more technological evolutions, i mean, no more weapons, medicines, vehicles, and using a power plan can be hard, just to keep using electronic devices.
You will have to face environment caos, maybe tsunamis, earthquakes, tornadoes without warning
Animal Wild life would be out of control...
Any disease could catch you and you have no hospitals...
Other survivors trying to keep on killing each other
Mans eternal war for Supplies... and territories..
Its World War III.....end of everything..

Lack of medicines,for those of us who need them,will hinder us all big time.And,do any of us know what diseases the zombies carry? I mean,they fall dead into a water source,like a stream or lake,and you don't have top purification equipment,just some bleach,chlorine, and lotsa boiling.Can you get it all out? Who knows?
Food/pets...Who wants to sacrifice their pet as food? Eventually,it would come to that..Some dogs for security needs,hjorses for transport,cows and goats for milk,sheep for wool,cats as mousers,etc.But,on the whole,I see alot of dogs and cats being turned into burgers. And,eventually,you would run out of ammo.

Weak infrastructure, buildings collapsing with no one to keep them maintained. Roads crowded with abandoned cars, transportation, I bet you can't mine oil. Fresh water will get scarce as sewage systems, chemical tanks corrode and leak. Rotting corpses spreading disease, contaminating water supplies. Rogue and rabid animals. Domestic dogs will go feral and probably form hunting packs.

Infrastructure is a good point. Freestanding houses that are not maintained will become unusable within 5 years... There goes your security.
