No knives? metal pots, pans? They may not be the first choice but they are useful. Drop that big pot over a zed head and play the drums with some metal spoons or a saute pan.

I'd grab some knifes but all of them are in poor condition. Most even have the tips broken off :( Well we do have some Kevlar gloves, i could remove the slicers blade and use it as a makeshift weapon, i think i would be more of a danger to myself then tho xD

To tell the truth as amusing as it sounds I used to work on the main Microsoft Campus. Plenty of food the buildings are all secure with double entrances and the glass is bullet proof. There are backup generators in every building as well as a 30 day supply of fuel for said generators there are also janitorial and maintenance areas where you could get weapons and other sundry supplies. Medical emergency stations in every break room as well. The only thing really missing is guns, but if we made a run for the security stations that could be taken care of as well :)

I work at six flags, not an ideal place but thew back rooms of my department are full of hand tools, also we have five decent sized mini sledges we use at a game, and there's always the maintenance guy's chainsaws
