Outcome of Apocalypse
There are only three possible outcomes of this war. If you think there are more, leave it in the comments. Also say what ending is most likely. I pick #3. P.S. This is after ten years.
1. The dead still rule the world, although they may be infrequent, they are still the planet's main dominator. All humans have died of self-destruction, eaten alive, or remain in hiding.
2. Humans have began to retake the earth. Small pockets of humanity have banded together to stop the undead. Or we have outlived them before they rotted to nothing. Either way, we are winning, and civilization will return in less than another 10 years,
3.No human or dead remain. Before eventually rotting away, the zombies have eaten most of the human population. You can hear the waves crash upon the shore, the leaves rustling in the wind, and the birds chirping. The world has finally met an eerie peace not known for millions of years. You are the remaining humans. Those who are left remain in hiding.

There hasn't been an apocalpse...
On top of this an Apocalpse is not something that is Survivable, the strong will die as will the weak, the way you are talking about it is as a world wide plauge and epidemic, NOT an Apocalpse!

the government decides nukes are a good idea, except they blow up the entire earth, or end up killing all living people with radiation, then the earth is a zombie infested wasteland/desert thing...
