I, like many other Lost Zombiers (I'm assuming), have dogs. If the Zeds were to attack RIGHT NOW, what would you do with your pets? Would you set them free, put them on a leash and take them with you, attempt to have them follow you without a leash on?

I would keep them unleashed and have my dogs follow me; if they run, I would *maybe* cry but know they would have a chance of surviving without me.

What do you think will happen to all the Zoo animals when they find out their electric fences aren't electric anymore and just chainlink? What about all those family pets and livestock?

If electricity stops, all the lions, tigers, bears, elephants, and who knows what will be able to escape their previously deemed un-escapable enclosures. Now I have something to worry about other than zombies (I live near a zoo).

my dong dosent bark, he nudges me when he thinks something is up
hes 10 years old and has authrightus though so, im not sure weather i should keep him or not
Quarintine or death. Animals can be infected just the same. It may kill them but that doesn't mean they won't have time to transmit it beforehand. My first job (after fortification and provisions acqusition) would be to kill the creatures in the zoo. It will be benificial in the long run, as they could either eat you or infect you. And the electric fences are usually strong enough so that in the event of a power outage, the animals still will not escape.
Bambi won't bite another sorry motherfucker ever again in my town. I will kill his (or her, whichever) ass, first chance.
I`d keep the elephants or any animal i know i could train and wont become easily infected or hurt
This is a though one, I can't live without my cat. But during a Z apoc, she will not be usefull to me. So I have no idea what i will do with her...
What I want to have is Sam the dog out 'I am Legend', that is one smart dog. And I am not even a dog person, but she stole my heart.
I am lucky to live no where near a zoo, but If I was, I guess that I will put a big, heavy lock on the entrace gates. So that if in the case they can get out there cages, that they can't rampage the town. But i think that there is not a big chance that they will escape in the zoo's we have here. All the doors are either electrical, and won't open in a power shortage, or manualy opened. So I am pretty safe from the zoo. :p
I would like a dog, but my mother is scared to death of them. She would have a heart attack if I got a dog now (I still live at my parents). And the cat is like my child in a away *_* ( I know that that sounds stupid...)
I may take a german sheppard when I am living on my own. =D And I love it when you do that. *blink*

That's okay =D. There may be a lot of grammar error in it. But I don't write then in Word, so there in lays the problem. =\
Hmm...i'd keep my dog but not on a leash. If it wasnt to run the too bad.

I think the zoo animals would just be in the way since zeds dont eat animals.
The training of th elephant is a good idea tho.
i would set all my cats free and have them run ( for me it would be harder to do then shoot my mom if she was bittin ) and i would put the only bag of cat food out side opend and tiped over for them to eat till they can manege to find there own food but i hope my cats die of natrul cuases befor the zeds show up. i wouldent want to be mentally unstable when they do show.( it sounds dumb but i love my cat more than anything )
I do not have a pet, but if I did, I would take my dog with me, un-leashed, just in case I was attacked. I want "Fido" to survive. As for Zoo animals, living within a mile of The Bronx Zoo, and knowing what they have there, I can only pray that the infection was only on humans, (but if it is, probably primates will also fall victims to it, yikes!).
Now, having the animals free out of the zoo, well,--The Bronx just got some new predators, tigers, elephants, rhinos, lions, and the others.
Hahah, nice one, and so true
I have two giant schnauzers, and i while they aren't the most street smart dogs in the world, i think their sense of smell and hearing would be invaluable while on the run. Not to mention they look scary and it would make evil doers think twice before fuckin wit dis!
