I, like many other Lost Zombiers (I'm assuming), have dogs. If the Zeds were to attack RIGHT NOW, what would you do with your pets? Would you set them free, put them on a leash and take them with you, attempt to have them follow you without a leash on?

I would keep them unleashed and have my dogs follow me; if they run, I would *maybe* cry but know they would have a chance of surviving without me.

What do you think will happen to all the Zoo animals when they find out their electric fences aren't electric anymore and just chainlink? What about all those family pets and livestock?

If electricity stops, all the lions, tigers, bears, elephants, and who knows what will be able to escape their previously deemed un-escapable enclosures. Now I have something to worry about other than zombies (I live near a zoo).

um zeds dont eat animals just people the only times i've seen infected animals is when they're feeding on rotting zeds. most animals dont do this though because they are supposed to be able to sense that the meat is contaminated (according to max brooks) i'd prolly keep my dog, but train her to not bark. i have solar panels and stuff so i have sensors set up to wake me with a low ring in anything passes them.

worse comes to worse though my dog needs meds for digestion so she'd sadly die without the supply. i'd prolly put her out of her missery when i really think about it. not without trying to find all the meds for her i can get first.
I never said that I believed Zombies could reanimate Animals. I was stating that if any animals like lions, tigers, and bears were to escape from the zoo we would have a lot more to worrry about.
oh your title talks about pets though i was talking about not being worried about my pets and yes there are worse things than zombies, like hungry jaguars
umm yeah they do zack does eat animals too, but they prefer humans. don't ask me why.
i hope its nothin glike resident evil cuz then animals and everything gets infected, eekk i wouldent want to wake up to my dog trying to bite my face off
Yeah, I was thinking Return of the Living Dead and the 1/2 dogs!
those weren't zombie dogs, they were mutant dogs(lab experiments)
I'd be stupid not to take my dog and every other one I could find. A pack of dogs could rip through a zed pretty quick I'd imagine. As far as zoo animals go? The smart or hungriest would escape but, there's two tricks here. The enclosure and the zoo itself. You can train an elephant right? Hmmm?
Dude... your brilliant.

I'ma train an Elephant to sit on Zombies. Best.... Plan..... Ever....
Best plan ever, agreed. And hippos and crocs in your moat would be very effective, as long as you keep your distance cos their very territorial and might try to tear you in hallfff.....
But if an animal eats infected flesh i will die, you have to think of that
Umm dude "lions, tigers, bears, elephants" they aren't kept in by electric fences, mostly because it is cruelty to animals. Normally most zoos have only one way of getting out a system that is hidden behind decoration, and all the viewing points are at a place where the animals could not reach (i.e. high walls). I highly doubt the animals would get out, most likely they would just starve to death.

But I myself would snap my dog's neck just to make sure they wouldn't suffer in case they got lost in the panic.
