ive never had a problem with putting up pics before, but now when i try to upload a pic it will say waiting for approval and its added to my gallery. but a short time later its gone and not in my gallery anymore. Ive tried 3 times over the last week and will not post my pic. any one else with this problem? any solutions?

If your picture doesn't meet the guidelines for submitting proof, then it won't be accepted and will look as though it has vanished from your gallery (Because it will have).

Hope this helps

i understand that if it doesnt meet guidelines its out, i was in favor of that rule when it was enacted. but my question is if it was removed then why? i feel it meets the guidelines or i wouldnt have bothered. ive provided a link to the pic on my flickr page so it can be explained why this was denied that would be great.
How did you make the picture?

It looks like it is made up of images taken from the internet and then photoshopped together, if so then it can't be accepted.
well, they are taken from a stock photograpy site (stock photo exchange), the images have changed to the point to constitute original work. the images are royalty free and may be used free of charge as long as they are not directly sold or available for download or print on demand services, in which case the artist should be notified. otherwise, the artist should be given credit. But this being community driven, i see your point and will refrain from submitting any photo shoped works that arent completely original, and remove any photos i currently have using stock photos. I also have a video containing said stock photography, should that be removed as well?
Contact Lost and see. Im not entirely sure on the legal status of using the types of images you said. Obviously we don't want to use something in the doc and then the owner comes along with their lawyers.
I was talking to Lost about this kind of stuff when I started out... Photo Approval can take a long time, just give it a little bit.
