In light of certain recent possible zombie activity, the story of which is swarming over this site like the gnawing horde's of its content i feel it is important to take a look at our preps and ask ourselves are we truly ready. that in mind i ask all how are willing to post pictures of your supply's. water food and what ever else you find fit to share with us. i for one am hoping this all to be a false alarm because i am not ready.

Water:

(this is my current water supply. in this closet i have just about36 galleons of water. which will last my family of four just nine days. assuming of course the red cross recommended one gallon per person per day. how ever i also have a

water bob..

which gives me an additional hundred gallons by letting my safely fill up bath tub with water with out fear of contamination. which gives me "assuming i have time to use it" a total of 136 gallons or 34 days or nearly five weeks or over a months worth of water for my family.all of this not counting the 75 gallons in my hot water tank and in the sinks i plan to fill up. perhaps not enough water but its something.

Food:

(i fear I'm not doing as well on food as i am on water. that pic contains in it all the stored food i have at the current time. not counting the pack of mainstay bars in my bug out bag that's enough for one person for three days. i recently fell on hard times and had to use up my previously stored food supply and i just began to replenish it.. i do have my normal supply of food that i live on. and if i eat sparingly and consume perishables first i may have an extra week to two weeks worth. maybe. again I'm not in the best position, food wise. how ever unlike the rest of my family I'm over weight and i know from past experience i can go over a month with out eating and still be fully functioning. so i probably will go with out eating which will give them a bit more time.

*UPDATE*

Well since my food stock were dangerously depleted i went down to the local Pathmark. not my first choice expensive but i didn't have the car and it was with in walk distance and i bought 87 dollars worth of shelf stable food. and here it is my newly stocked survival pantry.

*UPDATE*

So the first of the month has come and gone and with it my monthly trip to the store to buy as meany supply's as i can with a hundred dollars. after hitting up my local dollar store, which i love cuse i managed to get almost everything for a dollar, here is my updated supply.

but food isnt the only additions I've made to my "War Room". thanks to the neighbors moving away i manged to get this great new storage cabinet for free, they were jsut throwing it away.

i also managed to pull this great chalk and bulletin board from their trash too. i always say when free take as much as you can.

that little table is also garbage picked but not from the neighber my mom found it a couple of years ago. and just for the hell of it here's a pic of my work bench.

and there you have it my War Room, for now that is I'm always trying to make it better.

NOW ITS YOUR TURN PEOPLE LETS SEE YOUR WAR ROOMS!!!

Your water situation looks good, so you have a compund bow huh? I agree your food storage needs work. I too have fallen on hard times but somehow still manage to keep a stocked pantry lol. I also started growing some food in my backyard carrots, squash, oinions, peas, and peppers their coming in pretty nicely. Maybe you could do something similiar?

yeah but its only a Junior bow so it lacks and power and the draw length isn't quite right but its good for learning and in a pinch it will do. actually i have just started. i got a tomato plant in a pot on my deck right now. gonna see how it does. also have a bunch of seeds and I'm learning more about growing so hopefully by next year I'll have a nice little garden going.

hope you have more stored then just this. ; D

Yeah well i just started but their getting there.  :D

hows your water situation and weapons?

My water situation is two 7gallon aquatainers filled an aquabob near my tub, and a few empty water gallon containers that will get filled the second I hear the shit hitting the fan. Im also working on that charcoal filter you mentioned so I can filter the shitty water that comes from the Susquehanna river. As for my my weapon situation I recently updated my AK-47 and have got 700 rounds for it.

My AR-15 has got around 700 rounds stored away as well. Suprisingly Im pretty low on my shotgun rounds which is wierd considering Im planning on using my Mossberg the most.

This is not all of it I still have some more stocked away.

well id say your weapons are in good shape but you need more water. if you have those gallon jugs now then fill them up don't wait. also reuse old plastic jugs and soda bottles if you drink soda that is. you don't really want to count to much on your water bob. what if zombies attack while there's a busted sewer main and you have no mater to your house. i fill up every empty bottle i can get my hands on. waters an easy thing to store since you always have a supply of coming into your home you just gotta bottle it. never put off till tomorrow what can be done today. sounds like you only have maybe three weeks worth for one person. how many people in your family? remember you rule of three water should come second only to shelter.

3 minuets without air

3 hours without shelter

3 days without water

3 weeks without food.

that's the order of importance you should prep in

Trust me if it was just me living in my house I would have every bottle, cup, glass, bag filled. But I live with my family right now and my house has got a lot crap in it making it hard to store stuff the way it is.

you don't have a basement or garage or attic you can store them in? just ry to sneak them in any place. the bottom of closets are good places. you can put them any wear you have space as long as you remember where you put them. that's actually better because if someone raids your house after z day chances are they won't find all your water and you can go back for it after they leave.

i just want to say that you will need a hand held can opener if you want to eat canned food without a pop top lid

i dont have a good camera yet so ill just tell you what i have

for water i have 2 big office cooler water jugs 5 milk jugs filled with water 1  5 gallon container of water and various jugs in my basement

for food i have about 35 canned goods and 2 bags of flower i also am going to try to start a small garden

for weapons i have a machete a pipe bow (my pipe bow is an invention i made i 15 minutes i get arrows for 57 cents) axes, pickaxes, baseball bats, golf clubs, hammers, hatchets, knives and some bats with nails in them.

i keep a p 38 military can opener on a para cord bracelet i wear everywhere i go along with a few other supply's. i also got one tied to the canteen on my bug out bag and another in my edc I'm cool. ive seen those pipe bows before you know how much power your getting with that, what about range? i to have a a favor for the spiked bat
