REAL Zombie Attack in New Orleans?

I found this news on a real news site with a title that caught my eye: "Victim says attacker chewed, swallowed". In this article the victim said that a stranger went up to him and just bit him. Took a huge chuck out of his arm. After trying to strangle the man, the victim's friends knocks the attacker away who then wanders off towards a police car. Now when it comes to zombie news we have to read between the lines. I think this screams out the loudest. Click source link to read article.

It doesn't sound like a zombie, but you never know, maybe it's the advanced stages of the infection where they still have use of higher brain functions, but are slowly losing control of their behavior. I'd like to know how reliable the source is (I'm Australian so I would have no clue about U.S news corporations)

Cannibals will not usually attack spontaneously, just because they eat human flesh it doesn't mean their incapable of controlling their actions in a society. how ever a drugged cannibal may do so. But what are the chances that a drugged cannibal would be wandering around and then go over to a police vehicle after attacking a man?

Doesn't sound like infection, even in the later stages before actually becoming a zombie you don't hunger for flesh. It almost sounds like rabies, Delirious and uncontrollable. Rabies is pretty much similar to zombie-ism because it makes the person infected need blood. Mainly because it makes the person afraid of water. Rabies will kill though and really quickly too. So don't be surprised if you read their obituaries anytime soon.

Drugs, there are some crazy drugs out there, so its quite possible, maybe a few too many pain pills.

the dude was probally just messed up on drugs, there was a guy in the town next to us that got really high on meth and was walking down the road eating a live puppy
