The Super Flu pandemic begins in February of 2007 as common, seasonal influenza. By March the number of cases reported has quadrupled and the Flu strain is dubbed “The Super Flu” by the media. The Super Flu proves resilient against influenza vaccines. On April 1st 2007 the World Health Organization announces that the Super Flu meets the three criteria of a Pandemic. In the streets people begin wearing white dust masks. There are protests in major cities, as the public demands healthcare for the uninsured. In San Francisco a man robs a bank with a squirt bottle full of, what claims is, super flu infected blood.

this is the first paragraph copied and pasted, hooray me. But notice something. The section is titled February 2007 and yet it states thats April 1st the WHO announces the super flu and the rest of the article sounds like its talking about events in april rather then february.

I think we should flesh out February with simple facts regarding symptoms and how many are getting infected how fast and why it is noticed as something besides a normal flu or something. This paragraph simply sounds like it belongs in its own category called April 2007 or something.

I'm sitting on top that building with you. Just waiting for you to jump first.(into feb.)
The timeline was designed as a guideline to outline the major events surrounding the apocalypse. There is nothing to say that individual members can't flesh out the details between these events more thoroughly. In fact, I suggest coming up with ideas for "Grid Square" submissions and see if Lost wants to add them...
I'm just regarding the odd placement of the details of the month of April 2007 in the February category. I think it would be much more professional to cleave the chunk of that section that regards April 2007 (most of that section) and turn it into its own section of the timeline.
Influenza describes what would be seen at first, as it appears in the timeline. It would be a great resource, I think we can agree that this would be a bad strain and you would probably see some of the worst symptoms listed, including bleeding from the nose and mouth.

This news story appeared today, and is almost directly on topic as it would appear in the Lost Zombie universe. Though it is copyrighted, it would be a great template.
Well my roomie just came home with a panflit that says "just in case arizona" EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS. "Be prepared to stay be prepared to go. It evens has a web site. www.justincasearizona.com. That's the main one.. Then we have another one that's on the Pandemic Influenza...... Is this how its gonna start???.. My roomie works for the state of arizona, Why does he get it before the general public? There are also a few other websites that are on the back of these. I will list them as well.
Just in case Arizona - http://www.justincasearizona.com
Arizona Pandemic Influenza Information - http://www.azdhs.gov/pandemicflu/
National Pandemic Influenza Web Site - http://.www.pandemicflu.gov/
Pandemic Influenza Planning Checklist - http://www.pandemicflu.gov/plan/checklists.html
Health and Human Services (HHS) Pandemic Influenza Plan - http://www.hhs.gov/pandemicflu/plan/

Does this mean the goverment has a sure fire plan to keep us safe?

All we need now is a "How to survive a Zombie Apocalypse in Arizona? panflit, and most of us are set.

"there's no point in living, if you can't be alive" Stay alive......
Wow, thanks for posting. Scary stuff really.
