Rolling Thunder
Anyone ever thought of how a Armored Division could stop a Zombie Outbreak in a heartbeat?
Taking into consideration diesel,ammo, and how skilled the crew manning this mobile fortress is (no need to worry, trained soldiers), it would be a knock out. You'd imagine they would just stampede all over these undead hostiles. The only things i could think of making this idea invalid is if the tank flipped due to idiotic driving or rough terrain. Misfires, running out of fuel, or if a crew member were in infected. Thus making the tanker crew canned sardines for there hungry friend.
But other than that it would be a full proof bang up idea

to me i would use blades rather than using guns.. guns would be my last resort but i would keep them with me but id like to stick with my Katana..

You don't necessarily need tanks.
There are plenty of smaller armored vehicles that could prove successful against the zombies in the same way.
The real task at hand would be being able to get over the initial shock of seeing the dead rise. That initially would cause great damage and havoc. Once the shock it passes, the fight against the zombies would turn in our favor.

More so when the Military recognized and evaluated the situation. Human teeth and fingernails prove nothing to 68 ton metal death machine :P
Guess it depends if the government sought it necessary to deploy a whole Armored Division or even a few small Battalions.
Sure would save tons and tons of lives and more soo no more to be recruited to the undead's ranks.
But sure armored vehicles would do fine, but tanks would devastate

when a zed gets run over by a tank, it gets destroyed. i would use apcs, the cannon would be useless, but an apc can have several sharpshooters inside or on top, and a mg possibly, i would choose a flamethrower on the apc, to burn all of the bodies afterward

Apc work too!!! Or you could dig up a old Sherman tank with a flamethrower or mine flail. Mine flails are always a good idea xD

If I had a Sherman with a mine flail, I'd take that thing through whatever I could, pre-schools, day cares, graveyards, anything.
