Its been over 2 years since I posted here... I changed my name to my middle name. There was another Roger in my group since this posting, but he got chomped, so everyone calls me Willie now....

 

It would appear that no one online is alive, and those who are, dont know how to read anymore... Sadly, I dont think anyone will know that San Francisco STILL lives!

Our bridges are cut off, and I havent seen the southern freeway in/out of the city, but there are major pockets of life. We are lucky to be bordered by water on 3 sides, its one of those places that what stays here stays, what left cant come back... Slowly we are taking back the city, but it seems that all of us who know each other already live in the same compound. Those I knew in the beginning, we lost touch, and they never been back - I think they died.

Naturally most of us saw Land of the Dead, we know that these zombies can walk across bottom of water. Good luck on 2 of those 3 sides of water though... Deep channel swift moving current, not to mention those two sides are also too deep for human bodies to not be pressured into goop... We only worry about one side mostly, but still... nice tall fences along vulnerable areas where pockets of civilization lay near water is a key here.
