What skills do you guys actually have that would Actually contribute to your survival in the Zombie Pandemic? and i don't just mean, "hey look i'm a crackshot with a pistol" i mean things like "I can reset broken bones" or "I can build a solid shelter out of construction paper" ok so the last one was a joke but you get the idea.

for example here are the skills i have that i think would contribute

firstly, i'm a Novice Armorer, i can work in metal or leather, i'm far from good, but i can make armor that works and well, which is more than many of you can say

secondly, i know how to grow and treat crops on a small scale, again, not too useful, but it can keep a small group well fed in a fortified position untill i can grow more.

thirdly, i was a scout and Venturer though the only thing i really paid any attention too was First aid, and man did i ever look into that above and beyond, i know how to reset and bind broken bones with minimal supplies, i can have someone with a Broken leg walking (Not well or quickly but walking)

Fourthly i know how to sew, and well, i can infact make clothing, i know it doesn't sound useful, but what are you gonna do in winter when a Zombie rips out the back of your warm jacket?

Fithly. i was raised in a Weapon based martial arts environment, where we take notes from all martial arts and adapt them to our own, meaning, i have a more vicious and brutal fighting style in hand to hand than many of you, on top of the being born into it has given me a head for Group combat, meaning i can face down superior numbers and win, though there are limits to that clearly

now then, i rate myself Low on the Survival list, i have the skills to last a while, but not for too long, so guys, lets see what skills you have, and if your a cackshot and thats it? tell us how well you shoot at what range, i want at least a little detail.

well Free running and Parkour are my main treats in life and i like to keep it up whenever i can get into town, i do climbing when i can and plenty of swimming *hold my breath underwater for 3 minutes...roughly*...

I have done a little Tae Kwon do, some Judo, more Karate, and planning on learning more Chun Kuk Do. my close range weapons training is better than most of guys that learned next to me *and they hate when i brag*

as in firing weapons, my accuracy is pretty good on a 30 meter line and with small arms to keep myself light *.40 S&W* and i can hold my aim pretty steady on full auto weapons...

i like to swing my Buick around the closed course now and then just for laughs *i will make it drift...or die trying* the rest of my driving skills are standard if not advanced...

survival skills wise are boy scout basic with some ROTC shenanigans in there as well, i give myself two to three weeks in the woods if i ever have to go into them...

a little bit more than basic first aid * growing up with a doc for a dad* and can also set a bone...a little more ruff though.....

i also double my knowledge in psychology *you will need it to know more enemies thinking than just the undead ones* and art of war

I can ride my bike with no handle bars.

thats it... this guy wins... we cant compete!

seriously... i love this answer.

Well, I spent two years as a Cavalry Scout in the U.S. Army. Thanks to that I can shoot 40 out of 40 with an M4 on the range (distance between 20 and 300 meters), close quarters and urban combat training and experience (in Iraq and Afghanistan), and lots of experience travelling long distances with a heavy pack.

Spent the remaining six of my eight years in the military in a much harder job that gave me experience with fortifying defensive positions from a single building or area, to around the size of a small village. Lots of survival training, leadership experience in hostile areas and combat, medical first responder-level training, and lots of experience with communication devices and improvised explosives.

I've also trained heavily in Muay Thai, Krav Maga, and Kapu Kuialua. Then i took those and began designing my own style. I haven't finished that just yet.

Outside of combat though, I'm not much good. I can't farm. I'm not an architect or an engineer. But, I'm incredibly virile. So when it comes time to make babies and grow the clan, I've got that covered.

I'd place myself high on the list of survival, low on the list of really comfortable survival.

adding to my skills set...

I'm a good investor.

in the last 5 months I've been able repeatedly obtain at least a 10% return on my invested money. I made $1000 into $1859.

I think it just know the right time to buy & sell. i invest only in precious metals and only in pool accounts. several reasons: no fees of any kind, live trading, low maintenance. i can more or less buy some silver, do little for weeks at a time and just drop by one day and sell. and make money. also the money is income tax free. only because I've taken a few steps to avoid that BS taxation (I don't believe in income and most forms of sales tax).

if I manage a 10% returns on my invested amount for every month in 5 years I could have a half million bucks. all tax free and by sitting on my butt all day and doing basically nothing.
