In movies, I like realistic zombies, which are somewhere in the middle.  The reanimated corpse is likely to have about the same physical ability as the person it used to be, since it's running on the same hardware, as it were.  It's likely to be a bit less coordinated and more clumsy since it's running on different software (I know, my metaphors are so lame), but not substantially faster or slower.

 

In actual outbreaks, I'd rather be shooting at Romero's slowpokes.  Who wouldn't?

The scary ones are the 28 days later ones, Romero zombies are sorta simple. Just nudge em and they fall over. Even in mass you get killed by a Romero zombie you deserve it. I'm talking about rabid zombies that chase you down.

I like the walking dead. Slow and stupid, then they get a hive mind together and work together, then it's interesting.

the best defense against a zombo apoc is time. Or unlimited ammo.

i think both are necessary...  they both bring their own kind of menace, walkers are scary in large numbers and enclosed spaces while a single runner can scare the shit out of you lol...  Both together is a must i think!

Only the fast ones-when(not if, when) the zpoc hits, the dead peopel will stay dead. The only things that move will be runners, host to a virus that alters the mind and some physical capabilities but not many. Even if this isn't the future, prepare for the worst and if thats not what you get, at least your prepared!

The fast ones aren't Zombies. They're infected. I'd take shufflers to infected any day. Just like I put in the old thread.
