I think that having (small) children in your group is a thing that makes your survival very unsure. This because childeren tend to scream, and stuff like that. I think they don't get the situation that is happening. They may see it as one big game. Also I can't see myself running back to safe a young child. I think that they are slowing me and the group down. As much as I like children, this is about survival. And the fraze is 'survival of the fittest'. Maybe when they are older like above the 15 they can be usefull, but every age under that... Lose them. Does anyone else have an other idea about this, or am I just a cruel bitch?

i guess in a way it is so true but think about it if the kid is safe and has been safe then maybe hes survived a few days to know whats happening i agree with you its fucked up no offense to you but its true the only thing thats gonna hurt is the guilty concious you will be feeling......but survival is a main priority when shit hits the fan
I think that a little child can't survive that long without help of his parents. If both of them die or become Undead, the child is doomed to become like that. I think that a child above the 7 may be capable of hiding iself in a closet and keep still for a day, but no longer. Then it will get hungry, and wonder on the street and gets bitten by a Zed.
And I will feel shitty about it, but it's me or them at that moment. And I want to fight.

I respects everyone's opinion. So I don't feel offended, and I hope other people don't feel offended by me. Because that is not what I want.
Hmm.... i was wondering about that the other day ....

I can see myself running to save a small child , but id rather not have them around me....
I think they are a " death too all " in the z-poc kind of machines....

but sadly you are true ...
Am i a sicko for thinking it might be better to give them a swift death ?
No you are not a sicko for thinking that. Would you rather make sure they can never be reanimated, or let them walk along with the Zeds? I would go for the first option too, I guess.
True ... that is an easy pick :)
I don't think there is any way I could leave a kid, I don't look down on those of you that could your just surviving, but personally I would rather take own a horde than give up a kid. Besides my team has a safe zone set up with literally enough munitions (though admittedly we are perhaps relying to heavily on voluntary personal) to pacify our area. So we would ave somewhere to send kids when we got them.
Ah... a tough question... if the child had any shade of a chance i would jump in to protect him/her like i would with anyone. But as for moving them i would do my damnedest... i wouldn't want anyone hurt, especially on my account.
i would have to disagree because as time has told children have survived in horrible situations such as the holocaust or even lost in the jungle aka "children raised by wolves" the young children that survive on their own are most likely to go feral and psychotic but i believe they could survive and i dont believe they would be a hindrance if you teach them correctly because children are the quickest learners of us all i believe that if we teach them especially at a young age to survive they will be extremely great assets for us in a survival instance
but a young child can not run as hard as an adult. And there for they will fall behind. And if you slow down there is a big chance your group will get surrounded by Zeds.
But I guess that it's just time that will tell us, how they would adapt.
they may not be able to run as hard or as long but you dont have to run to escape zeds you just have to move faster or simply dispose of small numbers
im 14 and anyone over 1 can be useful and if it is survival of the fittest we should have let hatians die and everyone hit by katrina homeless. also kids can help morale which is very important in a zombie apocalypse
Dude survival of the fittest dosen't mean strongest, and you are clearly a child from your comments.
