In the aftermath of a zombie outbreak, would it be better to have an ''every man for himself'' attitude, or an ''all for one, one for all'' attitude? I can see both having pros and cons, but what does averyone else think?

Lone wolf. Groups can get too emotional. You don't want a husband/wife team who will jeopardize the group bc one of them gets bitten. Best to look after #1
A little of both. I don't like the drama of the group but don't mind the camaraderie. I'm a bit of a loner now with limited contact other then work and my wife. I like it that way. Going out and scouting some then coming back in to rest and bring news wouldn't be all that bad.
Every small group for themself, I'd only want a few people, and I'd have no problem offing them if they got bit. Also group would ideally be composed of people that I know decently well, I'm not joining with anyone unless I have at least friend by my side, people are fucked up in the head, especially during a zombie outbreak.
I'd have to say a bit of both. It would be good to know that you have some support, but also if you were a real 'team player' i think some people would try to take advantage of that. On the other hand, being a lone wolf would be good in the sense that you only need to look after yourself, the downside being that if you get into real trouble you don't have anybody to bail you out.
Definately have a muskateer mentality, especially if it has anything to do with the hawaiian Tropics swimsuit team...

But seriously, even if I don't know anyone in the group I would still prefer a group. this way, you'll always have someone to keep the Z off your back. Plus, what if you end up a loner, and litterally become the only survivor? What then?
Then I won the game.
Life is not a game. Your life could depend on how you live and who you live with. Being a loner but having a place to fall back on can be a major plus in a Zpoc or Natural Disaster. It's always good to have someone who gives a shit.
Dude, if I'm the only survivor, it's just a game then, no hope of continuing the human race, just try to kill as many Z's as possible before you get to see your buddies again.
HAHa, Resident Evil U.
I agree with most of what has been said already. I think the best solution would be a conjunction of the two ideals. Initially with the outbreak its self the best solution is to go it alone, or better, with a small group but in the actual after math, once the panic is gone and those alive understand the stakes. That is when we band together and ensure the survival of mankind and all that jazz. We will emerge from the flames of Z-Day reborn and build a new world from the ashes of the old.

if youre by yourself, you'll die alone. if you have a good group, you'll survive a lot longer than by yourself.
when we restart, can we make the world a little less stupid?
